The Want To Forget

I try my best to forget.
Forget the feeling of regret.
I try not to show
Anything so i keep my head low.

You changed over time.
Both appearance and personality.
I wouldn't tell you what is reality
Even if you gave me a dime.

I don't know what to do.
The one i least talk to
Is you. You're often with your crew.
My feelings you brew.

Reading lots of books.
What drew me to you were your looks.
And maybe also your kindness.
I try my best to seem lifeless.

You wore a purple bow
and a pink tutu.
I've seen a crow
And I didn't know what to do.

You jammed with the music.
When i don't see you,i wonder if you were sick.
If I got a chance to know
You were with her. Then it would be easier to not show.

Not show my giddiness
Whenever I see you.
Not show my happiness
Because i don't know what to do.

I try not to look at your direction.
Because i might not be able to control my action.
I know where you and your friends hang.
I look for you after the bell rang.

I tried to forget the memories.
I tried to stop this series.
But somehow when i see your face.
My heart starts to race.

I can't seem to get out of this daze.
After you leave everything is in a haze.
My thoughts distract me.
My thoughts never let me be.

I want to just forget everything.
Another one behind me as I sing.
New feelings he brings.
I don't know about his rings.

He plays lots of instruments
And you play guitar.
My memories of 'us' are in segments.
He also lives pretty far.

Unlike you,i actually talk to him.
Whenever i see him,I see this gleam.
Unlike you who is younger,
He is older.

It seems like he is nice
To me because he likes someone I'm close
with. Towards him,she is like ice.
She is like a rose.

Forgetting is really hard.
It's not as easy as choosing a random card.
Feelings are so confusing.
You can't be sure who you're truly loving.

Thinking of bad stuff about
You. I hope none of this goes south.
Wanting to hate you,I don't want to shout.
I don't hear anything come out of your mouth.

Oh and came back the other!
He looked and smiled.
His number cannot be dialled.
Should I even bother?

Forget it all.
Forget it before i fall
With a crush.
I'm in a rush.
