August Whodunit Part 2

A fiend among us – murder of the most imperial design.

A lie complacent – where to cast suspicious eyes?

A fool, a wretch, those haunting lies – a fiend among us in human guise.

Fifty faces, fifty voices, fifty plans for dark demises – one which came to light.

Fifty traces, fifty vices, fifty hands with sharp surprises – none but one which bites.

Hearken, ye, who enter here! The night is wrought with pain and fear. Rise together, expel the pretence!

Hear me now, let the hunt commence!

PRELIMINARY:

We've spent a lot of time building up our characters by now, forging relationships and investigating alibis.

Now, it's time to start solving a murder.

PHASE 2:

This week, you are tasked to collect clues and start formulating theories about who he murderer is. Each day, Denise Kim will reveal evidence from the scene of the crime, and it is your job to investigate these clues. If a clue points at you, it is your job to defend yourself yourself against it.

You are highly encouraged to participate and engage with other entrants in this week, as this is where we will be forming factions and trying to protect our friends and convict our enemies.

Additionally, there is a community based side-along called 'Search Party' which you will find in the Whodunit Reading list on my profile . This alongside is not mandatory, but adds a fun extra level of interaction to the contest, and I'm very proud of the community for coming up with it.

You will write your weekly entry in a narrative style, in the book dedicated to your character. Try not to simply list clues or your thoughts – remember, we're trying ot write an interesting story, and your character is the main character. Show us their journey.
