When I was preteen, 13 years I would say.
I didn't know I'd become obsessed with the social media one day.
I was simple, cute girl.
Didn't have much to show.
I always covered up my body because I was ashamed of it at the time.
But I realized girls pictures were of them showing off their half naked bodies.
What, Alexis?
Teens showing off their bodies? But they're so young?!
Yes.
Preteens girls taking pictures in their bra's and showing off their bodies.
I was amazed...
I wanted to do the same because the girls received more likes...
More likes is equal of the result Of being more and beautiful and risky right....?
I thought so...
But I didn't do it!
I was too afraid....
I felt ugly because I only took pictures of me smiling with a full set of clothes on
But....
I received less than 5 likes and no comments
Did this meant I was ugly?
But no I looked so cute and innocent?
Why do girls receive more for showing their bodies and girls who didn't go nothing in return?
What does this say about our generation?
We need help....
Social media shouldn't define us or make us feel any less beautiful than who we are.
We shouldn't have to display our young bodies to receive more in return.
Right?
Or does social media have something else in mind...
