Haechan curled up in his bed his arms wrapped tightly around his stomach hoping to stop the pains but it didn't do anything. He suffered for an hour and a half. Tears had started falling down his cheeks as the pain was getting so bad.

Mark walked in the room at around 9:45 putting his stuff on his bed walking towards the bathroom he heard the pained whimpers of Hyuck and quickly turned on the bathroom light seeing the boy curled up on his bed in obvious pain

"What's wrong?" He asked quickly walking over to the bed

"I-it hurts!" Haechan cried out letting out a sob of pain

"What hurts?"

"E-Everything!" Haechan cried curling up tighter

"What hurts the worse?"

"M-my back hurts constantly, my hips hurt, and I'm cramping really bad" he whimpered out

Mark rubbed his back grabbing a heating pad he brought it back plugging it in putting it on haechans back.

"I'm going to shower if it's not any better when I come back I'm going to tell taeyong hyung" mark spoke

Hyuck nodded sniffling a bit

Mark went to the bathroom taking a shower and what not coming out like 20 minutes later.

Haechan has taken the heating pad off and was sitting up crying in pain. When mark came out of the bathroom he went in

Not even 5 minutes later he called out for mark

"What's wrong?" Mark asked walking to the door

"G-get h-hyung" his voice was low and soft kind of breathy

Mark didn't ask questions and just went downstairs

"Taeyong hyung Haechan told me to come get you"

"What's wrong?" Taeyong asked from where he was sitting with the other members in the living room

"I don't know. When I went in there he was crying in pain and said his back, stomach, and hips were hurting so I gave him a heating pad and when I came  out do the shower he went straight into the bathroom" Mark spoke

Suddenly there was a very loud cry of pain

Mark and taeyong rushed upstairs to the room

Haechan was on the bathroom floor his back against the bathtub amniotic fluid with some blood covering the floor beneath him but he obviously didn't know what the fluid was.

Taeyong grabbed a towel and put it on the floor to clean up some of the fluid

Haechan got another contraction as taeyong got to him and cried out again gripping his shirt

"S-something I-is ahhh" Hyuck was cut off by the pain

Mark noticed Hyucks underwear on the floor pointing them out to taeyong

"Can I see?" Taeyong looked at Hyuck

The younger boy was in too much pain to care and nodded letting taeyong move his legs

Taeyong gasped softly before calming himself so he didn't scare Haechan

"You're in labor and those cramps were contractions that fluid was your water breaking" taeyong spoke "Mark go tell someone to call an ambulance tell them to expect a new born baby. Bring me scissors, string, and the thickest softest towel we own."

Mark was in shock but not near as much as Hyuck

"Now mark like right now" taeyong spoke snapping the boy out of his trance

Mark quickly ran downstairs

"Taeyong hyung said tell someone to call an ambulance and tell them to expect a new born baby" mark spoke quickly

With the last sentence everyone looked over at mark

Mark ran around getting everything Tae asked for while Johnny called the ambulance

Upstairs taeyong was trying to calm Haechan down

"I need you to breathe. You have to calm down. I know you're scared. I know. But for the sake of you and the baby you have to calm down" taeyong spoke in a calming voice

Haechan nodded steadying his breathing.

"Good now I know it hurts but you have to push" taeyong told him

Haechan nodded again and on the next contraction he pushed as hard as he could.

Mark came back quickly putting all the stuff beside taeyong

"What do you need me to do?" Mark asked

"Hold his hand tell him everything is okay. I know it's your baby." Taeyong spoke

Marks eyes widened and he quickly kneeled beside Hyuck holding his hand

Hyuck cried out as he pushed again and again

Mark whispered encouraging words and let Hyuck hold his the entire time

Just as they heard sirens Hyuck pushed for the last time and a high pitched cry filled the room a little girl was laid on his chest. She was tiny.

He looked at her in awe as taeyong put the towel on her and got up as the paramedics walked in the room.

He washed his hands as the paramedics clamped the chord and let mark cut it.

They got Hyuck on the stretcher and wheeled him out to the ambulance as he held the baby looking at her in complete shock and awe.

"Wait what the hell just happened? When? How? Who?" Johnny spoke

"1. A baby was born. 2. 5 minutes ago. 3. You should know. And 4. Mark" taeyong spoke

Everyone looked at mark who walked down the stairs with a bag of clothes for Hyuck

"Byeeee" mark quickly walked out following the ambulance to the hospital

When they got there Hyuck was put in a room and checked out while the baby was taken to be checked out as well.

Mark stopped by the store on the way picking up the basic necessities. A few outfits, diapers, bath stuff, blankets, hats, a diaper bag, a car seat, and bought Haechan flowers because yes.

When he got there Hyuck messaged him the room number and he walked in seeing Haechan with the baby who was nursing her body covered with a light blanket

"Hey. I bough clothes, diapers, blankets, a diaper bag, bath stuff, your clothes, and flowers." Mark spoke putting the bags down and his flower on the table

Hyuck smiled "thank you" he spoke softly

"Of course. It's my responsibility. The car seat is in the car. I'm not sure how to put it together but I'll figure it out"

Hyuck giggled a little "we will see"

Mark walked over standing beside the bed admiring the two. Hyuck looked up at mark and mark looked at him.

In that moment things changed. Words didn't have to be spoken to be understood. The look in their eyes said more than any word could ever explain. They shared a passionate kiss. They knew things happened for a reason. If it wasn't for this little girl they wouldn't have come together, they wouldn't have admitted feelings. Things would be completely different. She was the prologue in their book of life together. She started not only a new page but a new chapter in their lives. She was the spine that would hold their book together.
