Summary- they're married and in a very loving relationship. Taemin finds out he's pregnant.

They'd been together for 7 years and married for 4. Starting a family had always been something they wanted but they just hadn't yet.

Taemin has been feeling sick and decided to take a pregnancy test just to see.

It was positive and he couldn't have been happier.

He went to the doctor the next day and got an ultrasound and found out he was 3 months pregnant.

He got ultrasound pictures printed and got minho a shirt as it was his birthday the next day and he wanted to surprise him.

The next day they celebrated with friends and family for Minho's birthday before coming home.

"I have another present for you" Taemin said walking to grab the box he'd made

"You already gave me a gift baby" minho said as he sat on the couch

"This ones special" Taemin said putting the box on Minho's lap

Minho opened it and seen a T-shirt, he pulled it out and to see it said "only the best husbands get promoted to dad" and in the bottom of the box there was a framed ultrasound picture.

"Really?" Minho looked up at Taemin with tears in his eyes because he was so happy

Taemin nodded "3 months. I went to the doctor yesterday"

Minho jumped up pulling Taemin in a tight hug

"Thank you" he spoke softly

The months after that we're very eventful. They announced the pregnancy and everyone was extremely happy for them.

They moved into a family home and decorated the nursery. Everything was just wonderful.

Taemin and the baby were both very healthy and they decided to wait to find out the gender because they wanted it to be a surprise.

Taemin was now 3 days overdue and doing anything he possibly could to go into labor. Eating weird foods, sex, walking. Anything he could do he was doing.

They decided to go on a walk around their neighborhood park and then go get ice cream.

As they sat down with ice cream Taemin felt a contraction. He took in a deep breath closing his eyes as he breathed through it.

"The baby just can't wait to try ice cream" Minho said

"Mhm. I'm just happy they're ready to come out." Taemin said as he took a bite of his ice cream

They finished up and walked back home stopping for a few contractions along the way.

Taemin called the hospital and they said to time the contractions and come in when they're 6-8 minutes apart or if his water breaks.

It took a few hours. He paced around the house leaning on the couch or table during contractions while minho rubbed his back and hips helping him through the pain.

Contractions were getting stronger and lasted longer being around 9 minutes apart lasting 30-45 seconds.

One contraction came very strong with an intense pressure in his hips and his water broke.

By the time they got checked in to the hospital and settled into the room taemin was over it.

Everything hurt, he was exhausted, and there was a lot of pressure.

He had walked a little more but eventually had to lay down in bed laying on his side as Minho rubbed his lower back during contractions

Minho was rubbing his lower back through what he thought was just another contraction when the pressure suddenly got unbearable accompanied with the unbearable urge to push.

"Ahhh"  Taemin whines softly lifting his head

"What's wrong baby?" Minho asks as he gets up quickly helping taemin turn on his back

The unbearable urge to push took over and he couldn't stop his body's natural reaction to bear down and push.

"No no don't push baby not yet" Minho says fumbling to hit the call button for the nurse

"I-I can't wait have to push" taemin says shaking his head his eyes watering as both the pain and the emotions started taking over

"It's okay, you're doing so good baby just a few minutes and you can push." Minho says softly running his hand through Taemin's hair comforting him the best he could

The nurse and doctor came in quickly getting the end of the bed broke down and the stirrups put up

"On your next contraction tuck your chin to your chest and bear down into your bottom as hard as you can to the count of ten then you're gonna take a breath and go again" the doctor says as Taemin nods

When the next contraction hit he did just as he was instructed, his face flushed red and his forehead was covered in sweat

"7,8 9 and 10 good job, deep breath and push again" the doctor tells him

He takes in a deep breath and pushes again his face scrunched up in pain

"Push, push push! Good job take a rest now" the doctor says softly

"You're doing so good baby, I'm so proud of you" Minho whispers to him softly his hand behind Taemin against his back supporting him each time he leaned forward to push.

After an hour of pushing Taemin was exhausted, he just wanted it to be over with. He wanted to be done.

"I-I can't" he sobs tears rolling down his face as his head rolled against the pillow feeling nothing but pain and exhaustion

"Yes you can, I know you're tired baby, I know it hurts. But you can do this, just a few more pushes. I'm so proud of you just a little more" Minho says softly and makes Taemin sit up more so he could push

Taemin cries softly but nods leaning forward pushing as hard as he could gasping as he felt the head come out

"There's your baby's head, right there. Only a little bit more" the doctor says softly as the baby rotates and the shoulders come out

"Almost there baby come on you've got it" Minho l encourages him

Taemin took in a shaky deep breath and pushed as hard as he could using his last bit of strength. Suddenly a wave of relief hit him and the loud high pitched cry of a newborn baby filled the room

"It's a boy!" The doctor says happily as she lays the baby on his chest

"Oh hi bub" Taemin whispers softly looking at the tiny baby boy on his chest with tear filled eyes

"Oh he's so beautiful, I'm so proud of you" minho whispers kissing taemins head

At that moment Taemin realized all that pain was worth it seeing that beautiful tiny baby on his chest.
