I have worked and volunteered as a camp counselor for just shy of a decade and it's a genre close to my heart. After reading and sampling what's available in the camp novel arena, I felt compelled to give an accurate representation of camp life. I have been inspired by and poured bits and pieces of my own camp family into the characters I crafted in Every Summer Has A Story. Though some parts are inspired by true events and real people, this is a work of fiction.
Trigger warnings: though I refrained from graphic images, there are indications of disordered eating and aggressive male characters who may cause discomfort for some readers. Please move forward with caution.
All characters and the plot are my own intellectual property and my camp series is copyrighted.
