butterknives of yesterday

april25twenty19

I never expected that the knives I threw up to heaven would come careening down into my flesh. it had been one misty summer night, the final act had just concluded, secluded stream in the back. sky never winked, I rain.

the colors all blurred, poking at the tips of foggy memories of skin and smiles only brought the vaguest of heartland. found the cold more toasty than the beats that danced around each other - twas a pity.

the bullets rained down, death to the past. met and end toe to toe, an epic duel leading to eviceration. smoke poured out of mouths, and suddenly I missed the personality of the sky. human hand-grenades left a once beautiful world barren.

fading faster every day, a dart on the day I die. the world might succomb before I. oh well.
