LANDON

What in the world was she doing up? I was really upset as I know that somebody had gone up there.

"Who woke her up?" I asked.

"Nobody did. I just brought her some breakfast." Giselle tells me.

"But I told you that she needed to rest." I snap at her through clenched teeth.

I then look back at my beautiful Anna and all the irritation at the guys that I feel in this moment quickly disappears as I lock eyes with her.

"Landon, I swear that she was already awake. In fact, I heard her talking and that's when I went inside. I wasn't sure if rather or not someone was in there with her." Giselle tries to explain.

"Excuse me. Why am I here and who are you all?" Anna asks.

We all look at each other before looking back at her and then have her sit down at the little dining room table where I begin.

"What's the last thing you remember?" I ask her.

"I was in a car accident." She started.

"Anything else?" I ask.

She starts trying to think. Then she had the look of a sudden realization.

"Well, I was at my apartment and I called my best friend, Liza. She had come over and then the next thing I remember was her lying on the floor not moving." She stops for a moment and starts to tear up. "Then the next thing I can remember was the car was rolling and then...." She stops and looks at us.

"You saw us." Elliot finishes for her.

"I don't know. I guess. I mean, that's why you brought me here." She answers. "I can't remember what the guys looked like who killed Liza and then took me." She starts to cry a little bit.

"It's okay." Kavina says.

"Look, there is an explanation for all of this that can answer any questions that you have about what's going on and everything but, right now, I need you to please not be scared of us. I promise we will not hurt you." I began telling her.

She looks at all of us and has the sniffles.

"I think I need to lay back down." Anna says and stands up to excuse herself.

After she leaves and heads back up towards the bedroom, I next look at everyone.

"Listen, we all need to be careful with her. Right now, we can't risk scaring her off. I plan to go and see the Moon Goddess tonight and hope that she will help me try to figure out what to do with Anna. In the meantime though, I need for you, Elliot, to come with me and the rest of you stay here and call upon the others to meet us here. Hopefully when I return we will have a plan in what to do next." I tell them.

"Yes Alpha." They all say in unison while bowing their heads.

"I also want you all to know that I appreciate everything guys have done for me and for Anna. I know that she means a lot to you all and you know how much she means to me." I choke towards the end because I do appreciate them. Always have and always will.

"That's what family and friends do for each other." Giselle says with a smile as she places her hand over mine for comfort.

Elliot and I then start to head out and make or way to see the Moon Goddess.

When we arrive and are escorted into her office, we stop abruptly as soon as we see both of my parents are sitting across from the Moon Goddess by the fireplace she has in her office.

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked through clenched teeth.

"Please, Landon. Take a seat." The Moon Goddess says.

I was about to protest until Elliot calmed me down through mind link before we sat down across from them.

"Hello son." My mother says.

"I really need to talk to you in private." I tell the Moon Goddess while ignoring my mom.

"Landon, I need for you to listen. They are going to help us." She tried explaining.

"Aren't you forgetting the fact that THEY were the ones who ALLOWED the Elders to do what they did to Anna." I scowl at both my parents.

They both have a look of regret. Which I almost feel bad but I can't get over yet with what they allowed to have happen with my mate.

"Time is running out and we need all the help we can get. Especially since they have insight in some of the elders' plans that are more serious than we all thought." The Moon Goddess explains.
