"Honey its so good to see you." My mother spoke as she engulfed me in a tight hug pretty much as soon as I walked through the front door of their new house.
"I missed you too, but I kinda need to breathe." I told her and she eventually loosened her grip on me.
"And Lauren its wonderful to see you." She said now abandoning me and rushing over to Lauren to suffocate her now.
"Its good to see you too." She said returning the hug my mother offered.
I smiled looking at my mother and my girlfriend sharing an embrace.
"Where's dad?" I questioned as they pulled away from the hug.
"He's at work and Lily is at play group." She informed me.
"Can I come and pick her up later, I've missed her so much." I told her.
"Honey you don't even need to ask, how long are you here for?" She asked and I looked over to Lauren for an answer.
"Four days." Lauren told her.
"And mom there's something I need to tell you and dad at dinner." I informed her fiddling with my hands.
--
"Y/N, we need to go get Lily." My mother told me as I just finished eating the food she prepared for lunch.
"You coming?" I asked Lauren and she nodded.
We drove towards the school and I looked at the surroundings. Sydney was definitely beautiful there was no denying that.
--
"She should be out in ten minutes, lets go wait outside." My mother said and all three of us made our way out of the car.
I was worried someone would recognise Lauren but no one seemed to be bothered by her presence.
I saw Lily walking out of school holding hands with another small girl, I couldn't help the huge grin that took over my face. They just reminded me so much of Lauren and I.
"Remind you of anyone." My mother whispered and when I looked her she had a huge grin on her face.
"Flashback or what?" Lauren whispered to me with a little chuckle.
"Y/N!" I heard a small voice yell before they gripped my leg.
When Lily eventually let go of my leg I crouched down to hug her tightly.
"I missed you so much." I told her before placing a kiss on her cheek.
"This is Dani and she's my best friend." She told me but not before placing her arm proudly around Dani's shoulder.
"Is Lauren here?" She asked.
"I sure am." Lauren said stepping out from behind me.
"LAUREN!" She yelled running to hug Lauren.
--
We finally arrived home and Lauren, Lily and I were all sat in her room watching the Lion King. Well me and Lauren were watching, Lily however fell asleep about ten minutes into the film.
"You miss her loads don't you." Lauren said as noticed I was sat with Lily laying on my lap.
"Yeah." I said simply looking down at my younger sister.
"You're thinking about staying here aren't you?" She said reading my mind.
"Yeah." I replied.
"I'll miss you." She tells me.
"I'll stay with you in the hotel then you can go on tour and I can go to college..." I started but then she cut me off.
"And how or when will we see eachother?" She questioned looking down at the ground sadly.
"I don't know but I think it would be best if we were just friends after you left." I told her, my eyes now filling with tears.
"I can't be just friends with you, not anymore." She tells me.
"Lauren I'm so sorry." I plead.
"Tell your parents that I can't stay for dinner but thanks for the invite, I think I need to clear my head." She says before leaving.
--
"Hey." I said awkwardly as I walked into the room me and Lauren shared in the hotel that we were staying in for the next few day. Her eyes looked red and I could tell she had been crying.
"What do you want?" She questioned harshly.
"I told you, I'll stay with you until you leave and then I will go and live with my family. They're getting your parents to ship everything out." I informed her.
"How was you dinner date with your family?" She questioned further.
"It was good, I told them that we were dating and now not and they asked why you weren't there." I told her, now sitting on her bed opposite her.
"And what did you tell them?" Jesus why does she have so many questions today?
"That you were tired and you needed rest before your show tomorrow."
We sat in silence but it was awkward and seemed to be full of tension.
I started picking up all my belongings and began to repack my suitcase.
"Wh...what are you doing?" Lauren said grabbing my hands to stop me from packing.
"I know you don't want me here so I figured it would be best if I gave you your space as you hate me now." I said sadly before pulling my hands away from hers and starting to pack again.
"I could never hate you." She told me whilst she was putting on her signature leather jacket.
"Where are you going?" I questioned.
"Out." She said simply before storming out.
