A/N: thanks for reading :)

It had been nine months since I was in LA, and today I was going back.

I had just finished my freshman year at NYU and Camila told me I should visit them whilst they tour this summer. At first I was hesitant but I figured me and Lauren probably won't talk and we'll be civil considering we are practically adults now.

Me and Camila have been texting non stop since I left and we are great friends but I told her it can't go further because I still have feelings for Lauren and it wouldn't be right to string her along.

As for the other girls, Dinah and Mani can't wait to see me but Ally is pissed at me for leaving Lauren in LA but she said she still misses me.

--

"Flight 263 to Los Angeles is now boarding."

"Well momma I guess thats my flight." I said reluctantly standing from my seat in the airport.

"I'm going to miss you so much Y/N." She said pinching my cheeks.

"Momma, you got me the first two weeks of summer its only fair that Camila gets me for the last few as I haven't seen her in nine months." I said truthfully and she nodded in agreement.

"Promise me one thing," She started.
"Anything." I responded simply.

"No matter how hard it may be, please be good to Lauren and just talk to her and sort this mess out."

"Of course, anything for you. But I gotta go, I'll miss you." I said starting to board my flight form Miami to L.A.

--

"Y/N Y/L/N!" I heard, as soon as I stepped out of the airport and I instantly recognised the voice.

"CAMILA CABELLO!" I yelled back and we both shared a laugh.

"I've missed you so much." She said and before I could drop my bags onto the floor she was practically suffocating me in a hug.

"hhmm." I heard someone clear their throats from behind Camila.

"Oh, hi guys." I said as me and Camila pulled away.

"Y/N." Dinah said with a smirk.

"Dinah." I said returning the smirk.

I think that had literally become our trademark thing.

"I missed you." She said.

"I missed you too, so much." I said honestly and we shared a tight embrace.

"Its so good to see you." Ally said sweetly, but I could tell she was still low key mad at me for leaving Lauren.

"It's good to see you too." I responded before hugging the shorter girl.

"And finally the best one of the lot." I said before hugging Mani.

"Thats right." Mani said before blowing the other three girls a sarcastic kiss.

I realised Lauren was missing but in all honesty, it didn't bother me that much.

In fact I was kinda glad she wasn't there because I seriously don't know what I would've said to her.

--

I sat alone in the room I was sharing with Camila, just strumming away on one of her guitars.

"I see you found Julia." A voice said as they entered the room.

"Julia?" I asked in confusion.

"Camila, she has a name for every guitar and this one is called Julia." Lauren said sitting next to me on my bed.

"Why are you back? I thought you girls were recording all day." I said, which came out harsher than I intended it to.

"I finished early and came home, obviously." She replied.

"I wanted to talk to you actually." I said thinking back to how my mother told me to sort things out.

"I'm sorry, for leaving and not answering your calls or your texts. I've been a dreadful best friend these past nine moths." I said placing the guitar on the floor.

"Well I can't exactly say I've been a much better friend to you these last nine moths." She responded honestly.

"I say we should just forget about everything that happened whilst I was here last time and start over." I said hoping to make an agreement.

"Forget everything?" She asked in confusion.

"Yeah." I said simply.

"Why if I can't forget because its all I've been able to think about." She said grabbing my hands.

"Lauren pleas-" I started but she cut me off by pressing her lips against mine.

I immediately pulled away and looked at her.

But soon enough I was leaning back in and our lips connected once again. It felt magical, like electricity was running through my body.

"I need to tell you something." I confessed after I pulled away.

"What?" She asked looking uncomfortable.

"Last time I was here, I slept with Camila." I said and she stood up and rushed out.

I just stood there but I realised that I needed to explain to her.

--

"I thought I would find you here." I said sitting next to her as she sat on the edge of the pool.

"Why?" She asked.

"Why what?" I responded in confusion.

"Why did you have sex with Camila?" She asked sternly.

"I honestly don't know, we kissed and one thing led to another and soon enough we...we uh, ya know..." I stuttered.

"Who kissed who." She interrogated.

"She kissed me." I replied truthfully.

"Does she have feelings for you?" She asked harshly.

"She did but I don't know if she still does." I responded carefully not even knowing the answer to that question myself.

"Do you have feelings for her?" The asked, this was the hardest question.

"I do, I mean only slight feelings. The feelings I have for her are nothing compared to the feelings I have for you." I said gently grabbing her hand.

"Don't touch me." She said as a demand so I quickly pulled my hand away.

"Who took it form innocent kissing to sex." She questioned, is she being serious?

"Me." I said simply.

"I don't see why it matters though." I said a little pissed that she was pushing the topic even though she could probably tell I was uncomfortable talking about it.

"Because you told me that you would save your virginity for someone special, your true love, the one you want to spend the rest of your life with." She responded.

"So basically you." I blurted out without thinking.
