NOPI Chapter 70

Sephine's POV

Dahil 11 o'clock ko ipinost 'yung thread ko at 7 a.m. palang ng umaga, two hours nalang ang natitira sa orasan nila.

Of course, it didn't take long before the School Forum started crashing.

It was so full of posts saying they apologize to me and that they're not going to slander anyone ever again.

Hindi pa naka-abot ng 12 hours ay na-satisfy na nila ang needs ko..

Needs of entertainment. Hahaha

Hindi rin naman nagtagal ay may nag-contact na sa akin at nagsitanong kung ako ba raw ang may pakana nung post pero nagpatay malisya lang ako't sinasabi sakanila na

"I actually don't have the power to gather those pictures from the surveillance cameras.. But yes, I gave someone a copy of my letter and our group photos. As for who that someone is, hindi sila nagpakilala sa akin"

One way to avoid taking the blame for the School Forum's crash, I had to lie and make some excuses.

Pero kung naniwala man sila sa bulok kong excuse, it's up to them.

San ako ngayon?

Nasa AVR ng dorm namin. Dito nangyari ang 'inspection' nila Violet na kung saan ay sila Nicole ang 'nahuli' nila.

Bakit ako nandito?

Well, even though those people who created vicious insults already apologized to me. The biggest instigator - the one who made the post still didn't do a thing.

So.. Hinihitay ko nalang na ikontak niya ako't pumunta siya sa akin.

Nang magring na ang phone ko ay tinignan na ako ni Lucas - ang assistant ni Mandy na pinahiram niya muna sa akin kaya naman nginitian ko na siya kaagad saka nag-cross ng mga paa ko't kaswal na umupo sa upuan ko.

"Young mistress Josephine, the caller name is unknown" sabi niya kaya naman tumango na ako saka huminga ng malalim

"Answer it," sagot ko kaya naman sumunod na siya kaagad saka pinindot ang 'answer' at ang 'speaker mode' saka bumalik sa pwesto niya - sa gilid ko't nakatayo lang

"I knew you weren't just a simple nerd. I thought I actually got you good this time but who would've thought that you've got me instead? How could you possibly hide your true identity without even my best people finding out who you really were except for having a simple background and a humble upbringing?" tanong nung tao sa kabilang linya kaya naman hindi ako nagsalita

"Why aren't you speaking? What are you going to do now? Tell the whole school? Make them run their mouths on me?" tuloy tuloy niyang tanong kaya naman natawa na ako

Is she nervous?

After niyang mapagisipan na baka isa ako sa mga taong hindi niya dapat kinalaban?

Anong use kung pinagsisihan niya na ang ginawa niya kung tapos na ang lahat nang 'yon?

"What's the rush? We never really had a conversation. How about we start talking and just take our time now?" tanong ko't halatang nagulat ang nasa kabilang linya

I can't blame her. My - Josephine's voice is more powerful, clear and intimidating than Sephine's after all.

Kung bakit ganito tanong niyo? Sa tingin ko split-personality ang meron dito. I have so many characters after all.

"J-just.. who are you?" tanong niya kaya naman kinuha ko na ang wine glass ko na inabot ni Lucas saka kaswal na uminom dito

"Come here and I'll show you," sagot ko't nakarinig naman ako ng pagkatok sa kabilang linya

Pinagpatuloy ko lang ang paginom ng wine habang pinapakinggan ang nangyayari sa kabilang linya.

"W-who are you!?" rinig kong sigaw niya

"We're here to escort you. Rest assured, we are guards of the Falcon Family. We mean no harm, miss" - guard

"You think I believe you?! Where are you taking me!?"

"In our mistress' dormitory's audio visual room, young miss" - guard

"F-fine! If- if something happens to me, my roommates will call security, you got that?!"

After hearing some muffled voices and some constant unknown noises, I finally heard her voice.

"Y-you.. I know what happened to Nicole and her friends! If you try to do anything--" agad ko na siyang pinahinto

"I am Sephine Cruz," dahan dahan kong sabi dahilan kung bakit nagkaroon ng katahimikan sa kabilang linya't on cue ay bumukas na ang pinto sa AVR at agad na nagpakita si Stephan sa harapan ko

Stephan.. a 1st year bully under Annallie. An heiress of a very famous technology company. It was probably why she was so cautious and smart at handling her accounts and IP address.

Kung hindi dahil sa mga miscalculations niya - the date and time of the pictures, the editing applications with her accounts and the surveillance cameras of her posting her comments on different locations.. hindi ko siguro malalaman na siya 'yon.

She's the perfect heir for their company..

Too bad she's using it on useless and nonsensical things like defaming someone. Tsk.

Pagkakita niya palang sa akin ay agad na nanlaki ang mga mata niya't napanganga sa nakita niya.

Sephine - me - I, without the braces on her teeth, the freckles on cheeks, the huge round glasses and contact lenses on her eyes, the wig on her hair and the unfashionable clothing on her body.

I was startled and speechless when she immediately knelt down in front of me and began to cry.

"J-josephine.. The muse of the main branch of the family Falcon.. Oh my god... I'm sorry.. I'm sorry... I didn't know.. I really didn't know... Uwaaa"
