NOPI Chapter 47

Charles' POV

Napangiti na ako habang pinapanood ang videos ni Sephine sa phone ko.

Hindi ko napansin pero hobby ko na palang picturan at videohan siya.

Her eating ice cream, reading books, sleeping or even plainly walking in front of me. Ah, there really isn't any time requirement for someone to fall in love. Who would have thought that I could be the real me whenever I'm with her. No lies, no pretenses included. Just pure trust.

I usually don't give importance to my birthday but this time.. For once, I'm actually anticipating it. If I could spend this day with my friends and the most special girl in my life.. I couldn't really ask for more.

"CHARLES!" bigla akong napabangon galing sa pagkakahiga at agad na tumakbo palabas nang sumigaw si Ed ng pagkalakas lakas

"What?! What is it!?" tanong ko saka ko siya nilapitan

Nakatingin lang siya sa phone niya't hindi ko ma-explain ang itsura niya.

Hesitant, worried and anxious at the same time. He was.. acting weird. Not that it was something new.

"Ano nga? Anong nangyari?" tanong ko kaya naman tinignan niya na ako saka tumingin sa phone niya

Ginawa niya 'yon for so many times that the veins on my forehead almost popped because of irritation.

Nang mapansin kong wala siyang balak na huminto sa kalokohang ginagawa niya ay agad ko nang kinuha ang phone niya't tinignan ang nandun sa screen.

"What the hell are you looking a--" napanganga ako sa nakita ko sa screen

I pursed my lips as my vision began to get dark and frozen all of a sudden.

It's a picture of Kuya Joseph giving a bouquet of blue roses and a peach colored rectangular box to Sephine.

Kuya Joseph was smiling so charmingly that even as a guy, I could even appreciate it. His eyes even had that look of affection and longing. It's like.. He really has deep and profound relations with Sephine.

Tinignan ko naman si Sephine.. That cute troubled and shocked look on her face..

BANG

Sinipa ko na ang pintuan ko't agad na tinapon ang phone ni Ed sa kama ko.

I ran towards the walk in closet and immediately took a coat, hat, glasses, mask and shoes. I wore them so fast that I didn't even noticed that I was already using the emergency exit to avoid the fans from seeing me that were still shouting and calling my name in front of the boy's Star Dormitory.

"Charles! Nasa music room daw sila ngayon!" rinig kong sigaw ni Ed kaya naman mas binilisan ko ang pagtakbo

FCKINGHELL! My heart's gonna come out of my chest so soon because it's beating so fast!

My woman's with someone else on my birthday!

Tsk! Pag-isip ko palang nang possibility na dalawa lang sila dun ay mas napabilis pa ang pagtakbo ko.

Passing so many different pathways and rooms, even though I was feeling tired and pre-occupied, just thinking about the possibility of Kuya Joseph taking Sephine away from me made me panic as I ran.

I could even feel and hear my heart beat so fast. Not because of excitement but by extreme worry and jealousy. I actually felt this kind of feeling. It's a first for me!

Nang makarating na ako sa hall ng music room sa wakas ay agad kong sinipa ang pinto dahilan kung bakit ito nabuksan at tumuloy na ako sa pagpasok sa loob.
