Interview: Rea (District 5)

I take a step back from the stage when I hear that. He walks off the stage, the crowd is silent, and I hear my name called, the signal for me to come out. Jace glances at me and ours eyes meet, he gives me a sheepish smile, then walks away.

"So, Rea, did you hear?"

"Hear what Brielle?"

"Well, I don't want to be the one who tells you, but, I'm going to anyway. The fact is, Jace is in love with you."

"What?" I'm playing the dumb card, though in my head I am going over possible things to say to that asshole.

"You heard me. So, do you return the feelings?"

"Well, to be honest, yes. I've liked him for two years."

"Well there you have it everyone! Two star crossed lovers being pitted against each other in the arena."
