"Yes.

I do have feelings for Ethan."

. . .

I didn't know what to do.

Or what to say. (a/n: just like how i am writing this right now)

I just stared at her.

My eyes never left hers.

I'm in state of shock,

That's why no tears or words came out of me.

My gaze never left her even as she took two huge steps to me.

Then I felt her arms wrap around me,

A sob leaving her soft lips,

The flowers leaving my grasp.

"Devan I am so so sorry! De-devan let me explain further. P-please,"

Emma's voice cracked as a tear rolled down her soft cheeks.

My hands were on autopilot, slowly reaching to her to cup her left cheek and wipe that tear away with my thumb.

Silence. A pause.

She took that opportunity and we sat on her bed.

This time, my gaze left her broken face.

She kindly told Ethan to wait for us, or her, downstairs, unless he wants to go out for a moment.

Ethan chose to stay downstairs.

So with a small smile for me and a, 'will you be okay' to Emma, he left us alone.

She faced me and i to her.

She held my hands and caressed them a bit with her thumbs, before speaking.

"Devan, baby, please hear me out,"

I nodded and finally looked at her eyes.

They were brown.

But dull.

And sad.

Emma's POV

Devan stares at me like he's never before.

I took a deep breath.

Here goes.

I told him my feelings for him.

I told him my feelings for Ethan.

I told him how I was confused and when it started.

He was silent the whole time,

but hummed at some things i say,

or caressed my hands.

I told him how I still want him, love him,

yet i want Ethan as well.

After saying everything out loud,

It kinda scared me.

Because telling your thoughts and feelings to someone verbally is what makes it real and official.

Then there was a pause. Silence.

. . .

"Em,"

He finally spoke.

My head snapped to face him, saying,

"Yes? Yes, Dev?"
