Percy was waiting for daggers to pierce through his skin and the ground opening beneath him and he would fall down to Tartarus, but the pain never came. He opened his eyes to see Artemis smiling. Percy took that as a sign to surrender his weapon. He took off his sword and got to his knees. He put the sword over his head, waiting for Artemis to take it.
"What are you doing", Artemis asked.
"Waiting for you to kill me. I'm not allowed to love anyone, and not have I only broken that rule, but I also love the person who told me never to love. So now I am ready for my punishment, which is death",
