I pull up in front of my parents house and take the keys out of the ignition. Getting out of the car I take out my luggage in the seat next to me.
I open the front door and peak my head in, "Knock knock." I let myself in and see my puppy that Tessa gave me as a gift running towards me with her tail wagging happily.
"Hey Sugar, mommy missed you." I said in a baby voice to her. She licked my face when I kneeled down to pet her.
I stood up and looked around. "Mom? Dad? Is anybody here?"
No response.
"Welp Sugar I guess it's just you and me until I go and visit Jeff." I pet her head, "And here I am talking to a dog that doesn't even understand me." She stood there panting and wagging her tail.
I got ahold of my bags and carried them up to my old room.
Now it's time to see where they are. I took out my phone and messaged my mom.
