What differentiates human being from other living species on Earth?
What strikes us first is intelligence
Could we define intelligence? Neurologists and sociologists cite criteria such as analysis, curiosity but also the different feelings that a person goes through during his life
The peculiarity of the human being lies in the fact of using his brain to control his body while animal species refer to instinct and memory
Then, do we use all our intellectual abilities? Nothing is less certain
The human uses a marginal fraction of his potential cognitive capacities. Is one capable of doing better? And if so, what would we be able to do?
Finally, intelligence is multidimensional, it can be presented in an infinity of forms. There is as much form of intelligence as there are personalities on Earth.
Here is a novel that tells the story of a man who keeps pushing his own limits and those of human existence
And to conclude this introduction, I would like to quote two words from the French geneticist Albert Jacquard: "The intelligence is not something that we receive it is something that we build
"The true form of intelligence is to understand that we have not yet understood and to do the necessary to understand anyway"
In reality this book will unveil the hidden potential of the human being to emerge from the most precarious and challenging situations while using an underrated tool: his brain
