Chapter 13

It's probably the flu

"Surprise!" Ethan yelled

My heart stopped and my eyes went wide. I quickly stepped outside and closed the door

"E-Ethan! Wow! I wasn't expecting you for another 5 months!" I nervously laughed

"I know babe! But I missed you so much!" He pulled me into a tight hug

I wrapped my arms around him and gave him a forced hug. Truth be told, I had lost all feelings for Ethan and it made me feel like shit

He pulled away and sniffed my shirt 

"What's that smell? Did Marcus get some new cologne or something?" He asked

My face went red

"Broly" I thought to myself

I nervously chuckled "N-No. Actually.. Marcus and I have a new house guest. Must have gotten his clothes mixed with mine at one point and his smell rubbed off!"

Ethan eyed me "New house guest? Who?" He asked

As if on cue, Broly opened the front door "Hey, what are you doing?" He asked

Ethan looked to Broly and back to me "Who is that?" He asked

"That's Broly. Our new house guest. He crash landed here a few months ago" I smiled

"And you just let some strange guy stay with you?" Ethan harshly asked

I lost my smile and cleared my throat "He's a Saiyan like me...plus it was Marcus' call. It's his house" I said

"So because he's the same race as you that makes it okay? He's a fucking stranger, Y/n! How stupid can you be!!?"" He yelled

I was a little startled. Ethan's never spoken to me like that before. Broly grabbed me by the back of the shirt and pulled me behind him. He growled at Ethan

"Don't talk to her that way" he said

Ethan cleared his throat and looked to me "He's right. I shouldn't have spoken to you like that. I'm sorry"

I moved out from behind Broly and smiled "It's okay. I get your concern. Let's walk to your house and you can tell me aaaalllll bout your adventures" I giggled and intertwined my arm with his

I began walking away from my house. I looked back to Broly. He had his fists bawled up as he watched us walk away. I gave him a pleading look, asking him to calm down

He sighed and walked back into the house

*At Ethan's house*

We walked inside and Ethan set his bag down. He pulled me into a rough kiss and ran his hands down my body

I felt immediate disgust. I didn't want Ethan touching me in any way. I gently pushed him back and looked to his bag

"Don't you have to unpack?" I giggled

He sighed "Yeah I do"

I sat on his bed while he put his clothes away 

"So this new house guest...how did you find him?" Ethan asked

"Well...I was out and about when I heard the crash. Marcus said he felt the crash in town. I took off towards the site and there he was" I chuckled

"He was just there?" Ethan raised an eyebrow

"Mmmm not exactly. He was in a pod similar to mine. He just fell out. Someone tried to kill him. He managed to get away and landed here" I shrugged
