Marcus and I walked through the town and ended up at a small shop

"What are you buying?" I asked as we walked in

"Tea" He smiled and walked away from me

The shop had a mix of smells in the air. Vanilla, peach, fire wood, mint, lavender

I walked around and looked at some of the stones that were on display. This looked like some kind of healer shop. I picked up a beautiful purple stone and admired it

"Can I help you?" An older woman said

"Oh! No I'm here with Marcus" I turned towards my friend. He was looking at some dried leaves 

"Oh Marcus! I didn't even see you come in!" She laughed and walked over to the man. They shared a short hug and began talking about different tea leaves 

I walked through the shop and looked at the different items she had for sale. Stones, leaves, lotions etc. This was definitely some kind of healer shop

Marcus said something to the older woman and it made her laugh. She touched is arm and smiled at him

I picked up and candle and raised my eyebrow at them 

"Interesting" I thought to myself as I sniffed the candle, eyes locked on them

They walked up to the counter and he paid for his items. She packed them in a brown box and tied it with a pretty white bow. I smiled and said goodbye as we walked out

Marcus had a huge smile on his face as we walked to the next shop

"Sooooo.." I giggled

"So what?" He looked at me

"So have you asked her out yet?" I winked at him

"I have no idea what you're talking about" He looked forward and turned to the left

"Oh come on! She was clearly flirting with you! And the blush you had the whole time tells me you liked it!" I giggled

Marcus rolled his eyes "Gwen is a nice woman. She's kind to everyone"

"Well she was being extra kind to you" I giggled 

Marcus stopped at another small shop. I opened the door for him and walked in behind him. This shop looked like a fabric shop. The walls had rolls of different fabric and there were shelves full of sewing supplies

A young man walked over and greeted us

"Marcus! How are you?" He said

"I'm good! How are you?" Marcus smiled and shook his hand

"I'm doing amazing! And who is this beautiful woman?" He looked to me

I smiled and shook his hand "I'm Y/n"

"Y/n! Like the great warrior!? My apologise! I didn't realize I was in the presence of such an amazing warrior!" He bowed before me

"Oh that's not necessary! Don't be sorry!" I chuckled and patted his shoulder

"Y/n likes to be treated like a normal person" Marcus smiled at me

"Well that is just amazing! Such a great warrior and she just wants to be treated like us normal people!" He chuckled and walked away

I leaned in towards Marcus and whispered "He seems...funny" I chuckled

Marcus whispered back "Brandon is a good character" He smiled at me
