TJ's pencil tapping against the desk was the only sound heard in the quiet classroom.
Since he had dyscalculexia, he had to be tested separate from the rest of his math class for finals.
He groaned staring at the questions for the thousandth time.
He didn't know the answers.
So he went back to tapping his pencil against the desk starting to create a rhythm.
The supervisor of his test had left to go to the bathroom leaving him alone in a small room.
His phone was locked in the desk so that he didn't have any access to technology.
He started humming slightly coming up with a beat.
*later that day*
It was after testing and school when TJ ran into his house and upstairs.
He couldn't keep himself from smiling the rest of the day.
He had a beat stuck in his head and some lyrics had even come to mind.
He didn't know very much about music but he played piano.
He grabbed a notebook and pencil before sitting down at the piano.
He started to play random notes and write somewhat of a melody down.
TJ thought his voice sucks but he decided to sing and try to finish the rest of the song.

TJ spun around quickly and found Cyrus standing in the doorway.
"Amber let me in,"Cyrus said,"TJ, your voice is amazing."
"No, it's not,"TJ said,"It's really bad."
"No it isn't. Your the best singer ever! And that song was amazing,"Cyrus said,"Did you write it?"
'Yeah,"TJ said,"Today I got a beat stuck in my head and I decided to write lyrics and notes to it."
"Scooch over,"Cyrus said moving to sit down next to TJ on the bench,"Do you have any other songs?"
TJ nodded flipping to another page of the notebook and saying,"It's a duet too."
"Okay, you start and I'll join in,"Cyrus said reading over the page slightly.

"What inspired you to write both of those songs,"Cyrus asked turning to TJ.
"I-uhhh-You-errrr-I mean,"TJ stuttered.
"Did I just make you flustered TJ,"Cyrus asked moving his hand to lay over TJ's.
TJ's face immediately turned a bright red color as he nodded slowly.
"So, How flustered would you be if I kissed you,"Cyrus asked.
TJ's eyes lifted up from where they were staring at the two hands.
He blushed even more as he stuttered,"Wha-at?"
Cyrus leaned in and kissed TJ. TJ kissed back.
"I wrote those songs for you,"TJ said when they pulled away.
"Good, I wouldn't want them to be about anyone else,"Cyrus stated.
"Why,"TJ asked.
"Because, If we are going to be boyfriends then I don't want you writing love songs about other people,"Cyrus said.
"B-Boyfriend,"TJ said.
"Of course, we just kissed. If that's not a sign of boyfriends then I don't know what is,"Cyrus said.
"But what about dates and akwardness,"TJ said,"Then it goes to boyfriends."
"We've practically been dating and had the akwardness,"Cyrus stated,"And a love song is the best way to ask someone to be your boyfriend."
"How do you know all of this Cyrus,"TJ asked.
"Oh, I'm completely guessing. Before I realized I was gay I had a girlfriend. The only reason I was with her was because Amber and Jonah set her up with me,"Cyrus said.
"Okay,"TJ stated,"Do you want to hear the other love songs I've written about you?"
