Now I know I told Yoongi that I'll be a supportive boyfriend no matter how busy he gets, but this is getting a bit extreme. I haven't heard from him since the day he stormed out of my house for the press conference. Not a single call or text in 3 days.
I feel my doubts starting to resurface. I didn't contact him in fear of being a bother or distracting him from his work like I did the day of his meeting. I felt horrible that day. Tae told me he's most likely just stressed and didn't mean to ignore me like that. I know he's probably right but I can't help but overthink. It's just who I am.
I get the sudden thought- what if he's hurt? What if he's overworked himself? What if he's passed out somewhere from the stress?
My heart starts to beat out of my chest as I frantically search for my phone. I call him immediately, wondering why I didn't think of his well being earlier. God, I'm so selfish.
I try to call him, but it goes immediately to voicemail. I call Hoseok instead.
"Hey Jimin," he says casually.
"Do you know where Yoongi is?" I ask.
I can hear his hesitation on the other end. "I'm not sure. Why?"
"He hasn't been picking up my calls and I haven't heard from him in a couple days. I figured he's just busy but I wanted to make sure he's ok and not overworking himself."
"Oh yeah, he's fine. He hasn't been talking to me much either, through. Just let him get through whatever he's working on. I'm sure he'll call you once he's done," Hobi reassures, making me feel much better.
"Do you think he would mind if I come over?" I ask.
I just miss him so much. I desperately need to see him.
"Uhm, I think you should just wait for him. He can be kinda harsh when he's stressed," Hobi says.
"Yeah, I just miss him a lot."
I head a soft sniffle on the other end.
"Everything ok?" I ask.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Hobi says. "Namjoon's just cutting some onions."
"Oh," I reply. That's weird. "Well thanks."
"Mhm," he says, before quickly hanging up.
I stare at the phone in my hands. I'm not stupid, I know he's hiding something. And I'm gonna find out what it is.
