SAM'S POV

I walked into the woods carrying my guitar and notepad. I walked to the quarry and sat on the shore. I opened my notebook and read the words. I was in a good mood today. I needed to sing. With everything I am feeling, I needed an outlet.

"Unwritten"

I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined
I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplanned

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

Oh, oh, oh

I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines
We've been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can't live that way

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin

The rest is still unwritten
The rest is still unwritten

Oh, yeah, yeah

I head clapping behind me as I looked and saw the man from last night. The one with the sandy hair and beautiful eyes, and that accent. He was a perfect man. He smiled and said "I'm glad some things haven't changed." I looked at him and smiled. "You said you knew me." He nodded as I said this. "What was I like?" I asked. Not knowing what you were like and not being able to remember certain things was absolutely aggravating.  He looked at me. "You were strong, stubborn, loved to a fault, you were an amazing person, Samantha. You still are." I looked at him and tears were in his eyes. Were we lovers. I looked down and saw a ring on my finger. It hit me when I asked "You gave me this ring, didn't you?" Showing him my ring. He smiled and said "Yes. We were to be married." I looked shocked at him.
