You almost flipped the table. "Kakashi!!!! What the $@*# you *#%^. Mother of a f$&ing duck truck!!!"

Naruto, who's mouth was full of pancakes and eggs, dropped all of his food back onto his plate. "Um, I'm done."

Kakashi glared at you. "Look what you did! Now our son won't eat the perfectly good food I made! That is inappropriate language too! What will our son think?"

You banged your fist on the table. "Kakashi Hatake, you are going to make all my organs shut down if you don't STOP RIGHT NOW!!!"

Both of the males in the room backed a few feet away from you, suddenly scared of the dark aura emanating from you.

"Now, darling. Just calm down. It was just a joke..."

You stood up, stalking towards the silver haired man who backed slowly up to the counter. "Please (Y/N), I'm too young to die." He held his hands in front of his face as you reached toward him. The silver haired man yelped in surprise as you yanked the apron off of him, chucking it across the room. It landed in a crumpled pile on the floor.

"Snap out of it Kakashi! You are not a housewife, you are a ninja of the Leaf!" You held both sides of his face with your hands, giving his cheek a light slap.

"(Y/N), I know that. I've been messing with you this whole time." He clasped a hand over yours, a twinkling look in his grey eye.

Realizing Naruto was still in the room, you let your hand drop, slightly disappointed in yourself at the same time. "Why did you do it then? Were you trying to make me kill you?"

Kakashi laughed nervously, scratching the back of his head. "Well, I didn't think you would react in such an extreme way. I just wanted to see what you would think if I started going along with Naruto's weird fantasies about us."

"Hey! I don't fantasize." The blondie was pouting in the corner, still wary of you.

You rolled your eyes. "Well, please don't do that again." You took a few steps away from Kakashi, allowing him some personal space.

"I mean, with the way things went, I don't plan on ever doing anything like that again. I value my life too much to die by triggering someone with my perfect housewife skills."

"Honestly, you would make a really good housewife." Naruto commented.

Both you and Kakashi glared at him, the silver haired man brushing past you to grab the dishes.

"Help me wash these and then we can go join the others."

A few moments later, all three of you were in an assembly line, Kakashi scrubbing the plates with soapy water, Naruto drying them, and you putting them away.

"You missed a spot." Kakashi said to Naruto as he purposefully flicked water onto the dish Blondie was drying.

"Hey! That's not fair! Stop it!" Naruto exclaimed as he gave Kakashi the stink eye.

You laughed out loud, Kakashi glancing up at you at the sound. He shot you a gentle smile, one that nearly melted your heart.

For a moment, you both just looked into each other's eyes, admiring one another.

Naruto glanced between you both, scrunching his face up. "Ew, you guys are getting all weird." He shook his head and resumed wiping a glass down with a towel.

Kakashi blinked, shaking his head before returning to rinsing a plate. Even though he broke the moment, you could still see the faint outlines of a smile through his mask.

Standing here in the sunlit kitchen, the love of your life near you and a child in between you both, you felt like a family.

This maternal feeling inside... you knew that one day, maybe in the far off future, you wouldn't mind having a kid or two. You wanted to raise a family, feel the maternal bond that you had only felt with your mother for four years.

You hardly remembered your parents, just faint memories of soft words and lullabies. A woman with the same eyes as yours. A man with a laughter that rang out like joyous church bells.

You missed them, even if you barely knew them. But you knew deep down, that you needed to be part of a family again. And who knows, perhaps you'll find that happiness with the silver haired man across from you.

Before you knew it, the kitchen was sparkling clean, everything completely organized.

"Good job, kiddo. Nice teamwork." You gave Blondie a high five.

"Of course sensei! Anything's possible when ya got the future Hokage around!" He gave you his signature grin.

You smiled in return, a fuzzy feeling in your chest. If you ever had a child, you would want them to be like Naruto.

"Come on guys. Time to go meet up with the others." Kakashi called from the front door.

"One second!" You called to him. Brushing past Naruto, you quickly ran into your room, grabbing your dagger and kunai before heading back into the living room. You looked around frantically, wondering where you had put your keys and money.

"Looking for these?" Kakashi asked.

You looked over to find both of your missing belongings in the palm of his hand.

"Thanks, Kakashi." You took both of the items from him, tingling sensations shooting down your arm as your fingertips brushed against his bare skin.

"Let's go!" Naruto exclaimed excitedly.

Before anyone could protest, he opened the front door open, heading out of the apartment. Kakashi followed, you being the last one out as you locked the door behind you.

As you trailed after Kakashi and Naruto, you made a silent vow to yourself. One day, if you were able to save the Land of Shadows, you would start a family.

In a small secluded house with a big garden. It would be kid friendly, so that once your own kids grew up and left, they're own kids would always look forward to visiting Grandma (Y/N). Or maybe they would come up with a cute nickname for you, like Mimi.

"Hurry up, (Y/N)!" Naruto called back to you as he exited the complex.

"I'm coming!" You replied, jumping down the last few stairs and racing out of the building.

Into the sunshine with your silver haired lover and blonde haired child.

A/N:
I hope the ending wasn't too mushy for y'all😊

Just a fact about me, the whole part about 'Mimi' wasn't random. That was the nickname for my grandma that me and the rest of us grandkids used to call her by. She unfortunately passed away in 2017, but I wanted to pay some tribute to her. She was always so kind and loving to all of her grandchildren (although we all knew that my brother was her favorite). Rest in peace, Mimi, I'll always love you.

Sorry, now I definitely made it mushy😆
