-AMANDA-

-This is so awkward! What is he doing here?! Why am I caught up in a situation like this?!- He looks at me, then hands me a pink notebook. "You forgot this in biology class." I take a look at it and hesitate taking it at first.

-THIS ISN'T EVEN MINES!!! COURTNEY YOU SNEAKY LITTLE RAT!-

"I.. uh... t-thank you..." I stutter, looking away from him. I bet my face is red right now.

"RAVEN! COME HERE MAN! I CAN'T SOLVE THIS SHIT!"A sudden boy yells.  I search for the person, who screamed across the room and spot a crimson red haired guy, lifting his middle-finger up to the air.

The mysterious guy just sighs and lifts his upper body up, away from me, so he can see the boy clearly. -Wait! So this guy is called 'Raven'....-

"Be patient Idiot. Ladies first." -H-How can he say that so calmly?- Raven pulls the chair next to me and takes a sit.

-I don't wanna be rude... I should tell him, I'm fine.- "I-its alright... you should help him out." His mouth turns into a smile and light dimples are showing out. It makes my heart skip a beat for a second. I've seen guys having dimples, but he... -He looks so innocent...-

"Nah. Joseph, can do it on his own. I'm Raven Johnson, by the way." He grins and reveals visible deep dimples. -Omg! He looks way younger with those... wait, JOHNSON?! The Ace in our school?!-

Somehow, my lips have their own will to form a smile. "I'm Amanda Miller. Nice to me-"

I get interrupted by Joseph. "FUCK YOU! Raven, stop flexing infront of me! You're such an asshole!" I'm surprised by how many swear words he manages to say calmly. Raven rocks his chair back and forth and puts his hands inside his jeans pockets.

"Shut up. I'm doing nothing." He then smiles at me, while his friend continues cursing him. "Sorry 'bout that Amanda."

I just nod. His eyes are arched on my book. " 'After' ?" He then asks. -Whoah...Wait...-

I nod again. "You know it?" -I bet I sound childish right now. Like a kid, who found someone who shares the same interest.-

"Uh, No... Not really. My friend reads it..." He mutters.

"Oh..."

"Heh...Didn't expect you to like erotic stuff." He then smirks. -OH MY...-

"Y-YOU'VE GOT IT ALL WRONG! I JUST LIKE THE STORY!" I say and cover my face.

-This is embarrassing! He's cruel! Turning from a prince into an completely...bastard!-

"Sure." He  chuckles on his own and takes my worksheet. Luckily, he pretends like nothing happened. According to my watch, we still have 30 minutes left.

His explanations were simple and I wish he could tutor me every time. To be honest, being around him feels kinda nice...

-'Dammit Amanda! Focus on studies!' My Hormones are taking over my mind. Gaahhh!!! This sucks!-

The bell soon rings and the mysterious guy stands up, waving me 'good bye' and is followed by Joseph, who is still cursing him.

School ended and I didn't see Raven anymore. I told Courtney about it and as I predicted, she jumped up and down, while clapping her hands.

Forgot to mention, I slamed the notebook straight into her goddess face, making her laugh out loud. -She's really annoying!-

When I finally got home, the first person I spotted, was my brother. Miles smiled brightly as he ran down the stairs towards me.

"Sissy!" He hugs me. "Let's play!"

I nod, while smiling at the same time. Atleast I have someone who can distract me from my thoughts and blow my confusions away. We were playing with 'Lego' bricks and my dad finally came home.

Right now, we're having dinner. Everyone seems silent and focused eating their meals, even dad.

-It's still weird, how I got to meet a mysterious boy... Like, I've never really comfortably talked to others, except for Court and Nath. Somehow, I feel normal around Raven...NO! STUPID HORMONES! I SHOULDN'T BE THINKING ABOUT THAT 'FLIRTY' BOY!-

"How was your first day of school, darling?" My dad interrupts my inner thoughts and looks up from his meal. -Oh, I forgot... we're having dinner right now.- His grey dull-eyes seem to sprakle with interest. This doesn't happen regularly, since he's working as a Police Officer and rarely has time for us.

"It was alright." I shortly answer and hate myself for lying. -What else should I say?: 'Oh, it was really bad, although I met a hot dude, who kept on staring at me. He even helped me out with homework and kept on messing around with my mind... yeah, it was fine.'-

He smiles at me and raises an eyebrow. "Is that so? Is high school finally fun?" My mom slurps on her spoon and looks eagerly at me. Even she has a slight hint of hope in her eyes.

-Ugh!... They both know me too well. I am not social at all and only have had 2 friends, ever since kindergarden. I never really wanted attention nor wanted to fit in. It never bothered me, being an outsider.-

"Yes, dad." I try to form a smile without making it look all too fake, which it is. -If there's one thing I can do for my parents, then it's trying to be the 'normal and perfect daughter' they deserve.- Both of their smiles grow wider after hearing that.

"That's wonderful, my dear! Did you hear that Adelaide? Our daughter is having fun." Dad laughs and mom joins him.

"I know Heathen! She's finally opening up! I'm so proud of you, baby!" Mom reaches out for my hand and squeezes it as her lips form a genuine smile. I hate to admit it, but whenever mom smiles, the corners of my mouth find their way up too, even though I feel bad for lying.

Miles looks at each one of us. Dad notices him staring and pats his small head. "Be inspired by your sister. I'm sure you will open up soon aswell. Right, my little man?" My brother just nods with a small smile, making me feel much more guilty for lying. -Oh chizzle...-
