Chapter Twenty

The woman giggled, nodding in agreement. "Yes, they are both energetic boys."

A moment of awkward silence passed between the four of you.

"So um... are we waiting for someone else?" You asked.

Guy nodded. "Yes!!! Kakashi is coming as well, but he's late as usual!!!"

You rolled your eyes, leaning back in your seat. "That doesn't surprise me in the least."

Guy began to drone on about random things that you deemed uninteresting, rather eyeing your surroundings than listen to him.

A flash of silver caught your eye, so you looked back at its source. Kakashi was walking toward your booth, his orange book in hand.

You immediately brightened up, waving him over. "Hey pervert!!!" You yelled at the top of your lungs across the bar. He glared at you, shaking his head before smiling.

The air caught in your throat, his smile still made you feel all fuzzy inside.

That's right... I like him...

A slight blush crept onto your cheeks. You pulled your hood lower as a means to hide the stain on your face.

"Hey guys." Kakashi said as he approached your table.

Asuma raised a brow. "Pervert? Did you show (Y/N) your porno book?"

The silver haired man sighed. "It's erotica, not porno. And no, I didn't show her, I just told her about it."

Kakashi moved to slide in next to Guy, but the green clothed man wouldn't budge.

"Not so fast, Kakashi!!! We're rivals so it's unsafe for us to be so close to each other!!! Besides, I like to look my enemy in the eye..." He gave Kakashi a strange stare.

The silver haired man shrugged, sliding in next to you instead. Kurenai had to slide over, but the booth was too small, so you ended up smashed between her and Kakashi.

"Asuma... why didn't you choose a table with more seats..." Kurenai glared at the man across from her as she was shoved against the wall.

He shrugged. "Guy said that the intern would be tiny, so I thought there would be enough space."

It was your turn to glare at him. "I'm not a midget you bum! And Guy has a knack for over exaggerating."

Guy frowned at you. "How would you know that?"

"Because you just seem like the type of person, Guy." You seethed at him.

Kakashi moved to put his book back in his pocket, pushing you farther against Kurenai.

"Dammit pervert! You're gonna crush me!"

"What do you want me to do? Leave my erotica on the table?"

You muttered a few colorful words. "Just give me the damn book, I'll put it in your pocket so you don't move and turn me and Kurenai into a pancake."

He shrugged, handing you the orange novel. You stared at the cover for a moment, considering opening it.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Asuma warned.

You immediately opened the book, grinning at him. "Good thing you're not me then! Reverse psychology, bitch!" You looked down at the random page you had flipped to.

You were met by a wide array of very detailed drawing of *&%$ %@& ^%( ^&^%$ #@!& *%^

You stared at it blankly for a few moments. Everyone leaned toward you, wanting to gauge your reaction. It was probably entertaining for them to see if you got flustered.
