"Sasuke is mine. Please just, don't fall for him, okay?"
You backed away a bit, taken aback by her forwardness. She had said she wasn't trying to be possessive, but damn.
The blonde smiled brightly at you before changing the subject.
"So you live across the street, I take it?"
"Yeah, since I literally just moved in yesterday, I thought I should decorate my room a bit. Personalize it, you know?"
Ino nodded in agreement, glancing back at her book. "Well I hate to keep you standing there with all those bags, so maybe we can chat another time?"
"Yeah, sounds good." You responded politely. As you made your way out of the flower shop, Ino called after you.
"Don't forget to stop by Yamanaka Flowers again! The carnations are 40% for the next four days!"
You waved back at her, showing your acknowledgment before you walked out of the shop, the bell tinkling as you departed.
As you made your way back to your apartment you sighed in relief, happy to be done with shopping for the day.
Next stop, meeting your colleague and students.

"Welcome back (Y/N)." Lady Tsunade greeted you as you entered her office.
You noticed that there had been an increase in papers on her desk, Shizune nowhere in sight.
"Thank you, Lady Tsunade." You bowed to the Hokage in respect.
The woman stood and watched you curiously. "How has your stay been in Konoha so far?"
You shrugged. "It has been well. The people here are very kind and friendly."
The Hokage smiled in what seemed to be approval.
"Good. I apologize, but we may have to make small talk for a bit, Kakashi has a knack for being late."
You chuckled. "That's alright my Lady. I am not the best at time management either."
Lady Tsunade nodded, glancing at the clock on her wall. "He better show up soon, he is making a bad impression on you already."
"Who's making a bad impression on who?"
Lady Tsunade glares at the source of the voice behind you and you turn around to face it. You are met by an almost six foot tall, white-haired man with a mask covering his nose and mouth.
He looked down at you and smiled politely, or what you assumed was a smile since you could only see his right eye.
"My name is Kakashi Hatake, it's a pleasure to meet you."
You smiled back at him, returning the greeting. "My name is (Y/F/N), it's nice to meet you too."
"Alright, now that you two have been acquainted, I'll tell you how this internship-thing is going to work." Lady Tsunade said.
Kakashi stepped farther into the room, standing beside you as you both listened to the Hokage attentively.
She leaned forward, lacing her fingers together again. "You will be an intern for a minimum of six months. Kakashi will show you how to teach a team and how to improve all of their personal skills. You do exactly what he says. Got that?"
You nod. "Got it."
The Hokage seemed to relax, leaning back in her chair. "Alright then. Feel free to stop by my office anytime or ask anyone of the administration if you have questions. Once again (Y/N), welcome to the Village Hidden in the Leaves."
Both you and Kakashi bow to Lady Tsunade before you exit her office, walking down the hall.
"So you're from the Land of Shadows I hear?" The silver-haired man asked.
You nodded, gesturing to the band at your waist. "Born and raised."
"Well anyways, follow me. We'll be going to meet my- our students for training." Kakashi caught himself, probably still trying to get used to the fact that he was no longer the sole teacher of Team 7.
You both exit the Academy, passing a group of kids playing outside for recess.
"Bet you can't catch me!" I small boy called to his friends, running blindly ahead.
"Woah!" He tripped over a tree root, falling toward the ground.
Right before he hit his face on the concrete sidewalk, you flashed foward, catching by the shoulders and pulling him in tight.
The kid looked at you in shock and in your peripheral, you swore you could see Kakashi's eye widen in surprise.
Before you could ask the child if he was alright, he pushed away from you, running away screaming.
"Agh, run!!! The demon lady is coming!" The rest of his friends screamed too, rushing toward their teacher sitting on a bench supervising them.
You sighed in exasperation, standing up and brushing yourself off. You were used to the fear you caused, you knew it was because of the cloak. But you would rather deal with this reaction rather than the one you would get if you took the hood off.
"Are you alright?" Kakashi asked you as you rejoined him on the path.
"Of course, I just wanted to... you know... not have that kid break his face?" You said and the man chuckled.
"Fair enough."
You both walked in comfortable silence the rest of the way to Team 7's meeting place.
Although you didn't talk at all, it felt right. It was almost as if being by Kakashi's side calmed you.
You brushed the fuzzy feeling away quickly. In your school, emotions were not welcome.
"Kakashi-sensei! What took you so lo- Oh."
A yellow-haired boy in an orange outfit trailed off when he spotted you at his teacher's side.
The blank expression on his face was quickly replace by a subtle smirk. "Too busy gettin' yourself a girl, you forgot 'bout us, huh?"
