Sqaisheys POV

Stampy just kissed me! He just kissed me! He grabbed my shoulders and kissed me! It was my first ever proper kiss with somebody I truly loved! I stared down at my lap, my face turning the brightest red it has ever turned. Was this really happening at this moment? Was I really kissing my love? I lifted my head to look back up at him. We made eye contact for what seemed like forever. He slipped his hand into mine and kissed me on the bridge of my nose before standing up and leading me into the kitchen.

It had started to pour with rain outside. The sky's were almost black, probably suggesting that there was more rain to come, possibly a thunderstorm. I never really cared about thunderstorms to be honest. I was never scared of them, yet I didn't love them either. Most of the time I just stared out the window at the pouring rain and flashes of light. Yet when Stampy saw the clouds his grip around my hand tightened ever so slightly. Was he scared of thunderstorms? I guessed we weren't going out today.

We both sat down at the kitchen table in utter silence, still holding hands underneath the table. Even though it qquiet I was still enjoying myself. I was relaxed for the first time since I my first day that I came here. Even the day leading up to my one week stay I was constantly thinking about stupid little stuff such as my crush on Stampy, what would he do if he found out, how my stay would end up, if I got hurt, how would my parents react? Now that I think back on it I knew that it was stupid yet at the time they were the most important things.

Both me and Stampy stayed deadly silent for what seemed like years, but it was still...Nice. It was enjoyable silence. There was still a small tinge of akwardness though. I mean, we were still holding hands, but we weren't talking. After around five minites Stampy took his hand out of mine, walked over to the cupboard, opened it and was about to speak when a loud crash eurputed from outside. Seconds later every single light in the apartment went off. I couldn't help but squeal. Ever since I could remember I was scared of the dark.

"Sqaishey? Are you alright?" Stampy asked, grabbed onto my hand. There was another loud crash coming from outside, along with a large bolt of lighting which illuminated the whole room. "Sqaishey, let's go into my room. It's safer there. If we trip there's no slippery tiled floors that we would hurt ourselves on." I slowly stood up and blindly followed behind him while taking small, slow steps. It shocked me to think that his eyes had adjusted already.

When we were in his room we both collapsed onto his bed and pulled the thick covers over us. As the rain, thunder, and lighting crashed widely outside I closed my eyes and let the sounds relax me. I guess Stampy was doing the exact same thing, as he was staying deadly still. Thirty minutes later, when the storm was still raging like crazy, Stampy rolled over to face me and brushed a strand of hair away from my face.

"Hey Sqaishey. When do you think the power is gonna come back on again?" He asked. I shook my head and shuffled slightly closer to him. "I don't mind if it never comes back on. I'm just glad that I'm with you." I couldn't help but blush a little. Even with a power cut, one of my biggest fears, I was still totally relaxed around him.
