SITTING IN THEIR SHARED apartment, Jordan and Hayden laid together on the soft gray couch that Hayden had picked out two years ago. She laid in between Jordan's long legs, her head resting back on his chest. Jordan softly placed with her hair, twirling it around his fingers before releasing it and taking another piece and twirling that one. "You know, I really need to buy another set of couches." Hayden thought aloud, fidgeting with the ripped fabric of her couch. Jordan chuckled and nodded.
"You really do. But I know you are way too lazy to actually go to the store and pick them out then fill out the paper work, blah blah blah." Jordan said, lightly shaking his head. "Who was the one to pick them out in the beginning?"
"My mommy."
Jordan laughed at how she called her mother 'mommy.' He had heard her call it back when they were in Florida and he thought it was cute. She mainly did it when she had just woken up and she was still in the soft stage. He heard her yawn and say 'thank you mommy' when she had served them breakfast. "Of course. Anyways, shouldn't we be packing to leave soon?"
Hayden was then hit with a bomb of realization that they were supposed to spend thanksgiving with her family. The Latina threw her head back and groaned. "Hayden, we leave in two days."
Hayden got off of Jordan and jumped over the couch. She pulled her hair up and began to ran. She then fell on the slippery tile, letting out a loud shout. She relaxed and raised a thumb in the air. "I'm okay!"
