TEAR AFTER TEAR, TISSUE after tissue, Hayden Flores laid in the center of her bed at her home in Vancouver. It was official — she and Shawn had broken up. All because of her feelings that she could not control. After admitting to it to Camila and to herself, Hayden called Shawn and Camila laid back in the background to be there for Hayden if they had broken up, and they did. Hayden told Shawn she never deserved him, and many tears fell, even from Camila.

Hayden got up and threw away all the used tissues, washing her hands in the bathroom afterwards. She walked to her bedroom and let the photos of her and Shawn drop. She flopped down onto her bed face-first and let out a sigh. She knew it was the right thing to do. If you lost feelings for someone and you weren't being completely honest with them, why continue to date them? Hayden knew who she had feelings for, and it wasn't Shawn. A couple months ago, Hayden would've never thought that she'd ever have feelings for Jordan. But he's became her best friend and more. And she wished that he'd show up at that very mom—

Her doorbell rang. She furrowed her brows and got off of her bed. She walked out of her bedroom and down the hall, towards the front door. Hayden opened the door to reveal Jordan holding a bouquet of sunflowers and roses. Jordan looked up at her and even if she did look a mess — her hair was everywhere, eyes barely fading from red, and mascara slightly smudged — he thought she looked beautiful, as always. She always looked beautiful to him. Hayden frowned and threw herself onto Jordan. Jordan wrapped his arms around her, picking her up as if she was a child. He walked into the house and closed the door with his foot, walking more inside of the flat and placing the bouquet down on the island.

Jordan sat down on the couch, Hayden still clinging onto him. Her arms were wrapped loosely around his neck and her legs had fallen beside him. Her head rested on his shoulder. She sniffled. "I'm sorry you have to see me like this." Jordan shook his head.

"I've seen you look worse." Hayden smacked Jordan's chest and he chuckled. "Kidding, of course. You know, even if your mascara is smudged, your hair is a little greasy, and you got some red in your eyes, I'm still going to think you look beautiful." Hayden didn't say anything. She only snuggled her head deeper into Jordan's neck.

"Hey. How about I cheer you up? I know an ice rink that's opened year-round. I've been there once or twice, maybe three times." Jordan informed the brunette. He felt her nod. "Well then. Go get ready."
