Toris sighed. He was bored. So bored.
Black Friday was yesterday, so why was his girlfriend, Alicja (Nyo!Poland), still out shopping today?
I mean, seriously, after all the stuff he and Alicja bought, you'd think she'd at least be satisfied for a while.
"Babe, I'm back!" Her voice rang out, beckoning Toris off the couch.
He greeted her at the door. "What did you get?"
She giggled, pecking his cheek. "It's like a total surprise!"
Toris tried to hide his curiosity. "Well, welcome back!"
She beamed, giving him a hug before running upstairs to her room.
Again, abnormal. Alicja was definitely an affectionate person. Whenever she got back from shopping alone, she spent extra time with Toris.
He sighed, irritated.
The entire day, he was alone and now Alicja comes home and ignores him? Not cool.
Something must be wrong with her.
(With Alicja)
Alicja bit her lip, nervously holding the small black box in her palm.
She sighed shakily. She'd never be able to tell him.
She loved him, but...
She sighed in defeat. She turned on her side and fell asleep.
(The Next Morning...)
Alicja quietly walked downstairs to see Toris making breakfast.
Of course, why was she surprised? Toris always woke up early.
"Hey, baby." She yawned.
He looked over briefly, he seemed irritated. "Morning." He said quietly.
Uh-oh. He was mad.
"Babe, what's wrong?"
"Oh nothing." He huffed.
At this point, Alicja was starting to get frustrated. "Seriously, what is it?"
"Oh, not much. Just you ignoring me yesterday."
Oh snap. "Toris, I had a good reason."
"Really? Are you cheating on me, or something?"
"What?! No! Why would I?!"
"Then tell me what it is!"
"I wanted to propose, idiot!"
... Silence.
Toris blushed. "...I was planning on proposing soon, too, but you left out of nowhere and left me alone..."
"Baby, I'm sorry." She kissed him. "I like totally love you."
He chuckled. "I love you too."
"So will you marry me?"
"Sure will."
