THAT was a bolt out of the blue.
I didn't know THAT.And if it was part of the office gossip, then I need to seriously fine-tune my radar.
I am stupid.. Just. So. Stupid.
He knew the fact would come down crashing on me. So he took his time to say his next words, as I kept debating my grade of stupidity in my head.
"You didn't know, Sone?"
"No." I said blankly, still wondering about my IQ levels..
Of course he was married.. A man that hot, that cute and at that career point, HAD TO be married."Does it bother you?"
"Shouldn't it?" I almost spat it out like a reflex.
He looked up at me instantly, surely not expecting that 'pat' of an answer.
His eyes softened and he put a hand on my cheek, caressing it.."Hey listen..don't judge me and be all feminist already, before you hear my side of the story"
"Ryan.. I'm not interested..please leave. I need to be at work in an hour", I said that and jumped out of bed, straight to the washroom.
I stayed there for 15 minutes, before I heard my bedroom door close. Another 2 minutes and I heard a car engine roar on my driveway..
He had left.
