Charlotte's POV

"Where are you taking me?" I groaned and carefully taking steps forward, while Vince is holding my hands and guiding me.

"Just few more steps, baby." He beamed and I couldn't help but smile at his excitement. No matter how small or how extravagant, if he is happy then so am I. I just love this man so much. I guess this is what happens to you when you are deeply inlove.

"Okay, now take off your blindfold." He said and I quickly untie the handkerchief around my eyes.

I gasped loudly and took in the image of the house before me

I gasped loudly and took in the image of the house before me. I turned to Vincent and he is grinning at me. Is this what I think it is?

Vince tugged on my shoulders and guided me inside. "I can't wait for you to see the inside!" My feet moved on its own as my mind is still occupied from all my thoughts.

We stepped in and my jaw dropped. The interior is beyond perfection! The ground floor was decorated beautifully, and it seems that these are all Asia-inspired designs. From the chandelier, to the fireplace, and to the dining area, everything screams money. I slowly moved around and the familiarity of the designs somewhat bothered me.

When I turn, my breathing quickened as I saw Vince kneeling in front of me. In between his hands stood a small velvet box with the most beautiful diamond ring I have ever seen. We made eye contact and I can feel the tears starting to tear up. "Every minute without you feels incomplete and damn you would be so annoyed of how clingy I can actually be. I couldn't picture my future with any other woman, but you, you are so different that I've fallen for you completely. What had happened to us two years ago was the darkest and roughest stage we had to face, but cheers we have moved on! I know I have committed unforgivable sins, and I'm so fucking grateful you gave me another chance. I love you so much, Charlotte. I won't promise you a perfect relationship, but I can promise you that i won't ever give up on us. You know I would do anything to make you happy.
Will you spend the rest of your life with me?"

My eyes were filled with tears. Watching him kneeling down before me with the most beautiful ring I have ever seen was something I couldn't easily forget. I always questioned myself what did I ever do to deserve someone who loves me so much and never gave up. The house is very beautiful but all I can see right now are just Vincent and I. He is my everything, my world. I continued to cry as I slowly nodded my head.

"I couldn't be happier to spend my entire life with you." Was all I could say. I was grinning like an idiot while he slowly move the ring up my finger. "I love you, Vince!" I cried and jumped in his arms.

He hugged me back and kissed my forehead. He cupped my face in his hands and whispered. "I love you now and forevermore, soon-to-be Charlotte Chaste Crawford." He leaned closer and I closed my eyes as soon as his lips touched mine. The kiss was slow and full of passion. This was unlike any other kisses we had made before. After several minutes of making out, we pulled apart and breathed heavily.

Vince coughed awkwardly and smiled. "So... what do you think baby? Do you like our new home?" He asked and I nodded. "This is... perfect." I whispered and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Thank you so much Vince. Though I wouldn't mind a smaller house, as long it is going to be with you."

His smile grew bigger and his lips slowly touched mine. As much as I want to kiss him, but my hormones are driving me crazy. I laughed and placed my finger on his lips. "Show me the rest of the house, love." His head moved sideways as he smirked. "Love... I like that a lot." I rolled my eyes and ignored his remark.

The whole afternoon we spent our time in our new house

The whole afternoon we spent our time in our new house. It feels weird to call it "ours", but I couldn't help but feel the excitement of what my life would be after we get married. However, something was still bothering me. Pregnancy still shocked me, thus I'm doing whatever it takes to protect the life that has formed inside me which was gifted to me. I was wondering how Vince would react if I talked to him about getting married after I give birth to our child. I hope he would understand and wouldn't get mad. I just don't want to lose the baby again, at any circumstances.

"You know sometimes I'm wondering what's running inside that pretty head of yours." Vince ran his hands softly against my cheeks. I was startled and looked at him. "What's wrong, baby?" He asked and I was starting to get scared.

"Vince, I have something to tell you... no, more like a request. But I knew you would get mad, so promise me first you won't." I said and looked away from him.

Vince held my hands and pulled me closer. He looked at me worryingly and spoke. "I can never get mad at you. Whatever it is, I promise you I will support you."

"I think it's best we postpone the wedding."

His jaw dropped and he looked at me with wide eyes. "Anything but that. I told you, I will do anything to make you happy. I swear, Charlotte, you won't—"

I gave him a quick kiss on his lips and chuckle when I pulled away. "You haven't let me finish, love." I held his hands tightly and smile. "I was going to suggest that what if we get married after the baby is born? I'm just scared that I will lose the baby again. I really want this to be perfect for us."

Vince pulled me in for a hug and rested his chin above my shoulder. "I almost died when you mentioned postponing the wedding." He pulled away and caressed my cheek. "I agree with you. I don't want you to get stress either because of the wedding. It will not only harm the baby, but also you. I only want the best for the both of you. I wouldn't mind waiting another 9 months if it means the safety and happiness of my family. I love you so much, love."

"Oh Vince, I love you!" I cried, throwing myself in his arms.
