Perfectly Imperfect (The Perfect Girl Sequel)

Chapter Nine

"Why are you both laughing?" I said, trying not to laugh or even curve a smile.

"Nothing!"

"Dyan na nga kayo!" sabi ko at tumaas na.

After kong mag palit, I sat down beside my bed.

I smiled. I'm lucky to have a brother and sisters that can make me happy. Masaya ako na they care for me, kahit na hindi masyadong kita.

I was busy thinking when I suddenly heard a sound coming from the window.

Kaya tumayo ako at sumilip sa labas, but I saw nothing.

Aalis na sana ako when a firework was displayed. Pero ang nakakapag taka, it was a letter.

"Death?" I said to myself.

Tumingin ako sa labas ng garden namin.  There, I saw a letter. L.

L?

Bakit may letter L dyan? Haynako! Baka prank na naman.

Umiling ako at dumeretso sa kama ko.

I shivered when I felt like someone was watching me. If my sisters are playing with me, then fine, whatever. Gusto ko nang matulog!

Hindi nag tagal, I fell asleep silently.

I had to wake up this day.

'Di ko alam but I seem so tired today.

We're walking around the hallway as I think. Marami na namang nakatingin sa akin at nagbubulungan—which of course, I didn't mind. Wala naman akong mapapala dyan if papatulan ko sila eh.

"Hey," tawag sa akin ng kapatid ko kaya nilingunan ko siya.

"Why?"

"Where did you go last night?" takang tanong niya sa akin. Nakatingin naman sa amin si Ella.

"No where. Why?"

"It's just that... may nakita kasi kami." aniya kaya napakunot ang noo ko.

"What is it?" takang tanong ko.

She gave me her phone and showed some photos of me yesterday.

The caption says, "Lucas Perez' ex-girlfriend Kazumi Anica Coldsmith, just saw Lucas making out with other girl in front of her face."

And there, there was a picture of Lucas and the girl yesterday kissing, and with me, I looked like I was about to cry. Seriously? How petty is this thing?

Kaya pala mas lalong dumadami ang tumitingin sa akin ngayon.

I just smirked.

Who ever's following me, won't even beat me.

I entered the room like nothing ever happened. My classmates all took a glance at me but my eyes were pierced only to the guy I wish I hadn't talked to, yesterday.

He wasn't looking at me dahil may ginagawa siya sa phone niya. Maybe he's texting one of his girls? Balita ko, he became a playboy after we broke up.

Well, to be honest, hindi bagay sa kanya. Why? Because he looks like an angel. But then again, we couldn't reallt judge people base on their appearance.

I was brought back to reality when someone shouted at my ears, napalayo ako sa kanya agad and covered my ears.

"God, woman!" tinignan ko siya. "What's your problem now, Cleo?" inis na tanong ko sa kanya.

"You're spacing out! I know you've already seen the picture and I hope you won't show anyone that you're affected by it."

"You don't need to tell me that. I already know. I'm just thinking, it's funny how that girl apologized to me after she saw me. How sad for her," sabi ko as I shook my head.

Magsasalita pa sana si Cleo ng biglang may dumating na naman.

"Kazumi! Okay ka lang?" nag-aalala niyang tanong as she hugged me. I just patted her back.

"I am. Why are you so worried about me?" natatawang tanong ko.

"Eh kasi, dahil sa," hindi niya naituloy ang sasabihin niya sana dahil binatukan siya ni Cleo.

"Aray!"

"Stupid! Alam niya na 'yon! Have you forgotten? We're talking about Kazumi here, do you think she's like you?"

"Okay, stop, the both of you. I'm fine, just sit down already." sabi ko sa kanila kaya natahimik naman sila.

Lumingon ako sa paligid. Where are my sisters?

I was about to stand up when one of my classmates went running from somewhere and shouted, "they're here!" so everybody rushed out and naki-chismis.

Nagka-tinginan kaming tatlo.

"Who's here?"

Hello! Another update!

Suspended ang class so I could update kahit bukas. For those people that are affected by the typhoon, I hope you're all safe.
