Tobias pov:

It killed me to hear about what happened to Tris. It's not fair! She shouldn't have to go through that.

At lunch she said she likes Four people. That really crushed me because I really like her. There I said it, but I won't say it again. It doesn't matter though because she doesn't like me.

When the bell rang for lunch Zeke announced that he was having a party tonight. Almost everyone from school is going including Tris, so I decided to go. Now here I am. At a party full of drunk teenagers. I sigh. Great.

Tris pov:

Chrissy forced me to come to this party, but I didn't want to come because I am surrounded by drinks and it is really tempting. I just remind myself of how Caleb died. I am walking around drunk people when I hear Zeke yell.
" Yo Tris! Come up here and sing us a song! " people cheer and I give in.
I grab the mic and start singing a song I wrote a while back.

[Verse 1]
Rule number one, is that you gotta have fun,
But baby when you're done, you gotta be the first to run
Rule number two, just don't get attached to,
Somebody you could lose
So le-let me tell you

[Chorus]
This is how to be a heartbreaker
Boys they like a little danger
We'll get him falling for a stranger, a player
Singing I lo-lo-love you

How to be a heartbreaker
Boys they like the look of danger
We'll get him falling for a stranger, a player
Singing I lo-lo-love you
At least I think I do!

Cause I lo-lo-lo-love you.

[Verse 2]
Rule number three, wear your heart on your cheek
But never on your sleeve, unless you wanna taste defeat
Rule number four, gotta be looking pure
Kiss him goodbye at the door and leave him wanting more-more

[Chorus]
This is how to be a heartbreaker
Boys they like a little danger
We'll get him falling for a stranger, a player
Singing I lo-lo-love you

How to be a heartbreaker
Boys they like the look of danger
We'll get him falling for a stranger, a player
Singing I lo-lo-love you
At least I think I do!

Cause I lo-lo-lo-love you.

[Bridge]
Girls, we do, whatever it will take
Cause girls don't want, we don't want our hearts to break
In two, so it's better to be fake
Can't risk losing in love again babe.

[Chorus]
This is how to be a heartbreaker
Boys they like a little danger
We'll get him falling for a stranger, a player
Singing I lo-lo-love you

How to be a heartbreaker
Boys they like the look of danger
We'll get him falling for a stranger, a player
Singing I lo-lo-love you

Cause I lo-lo-lo-love you.
At least I think I do!

Everyone cheers and I hear a slow clap behind me. I turn and gasp at who I see. "Peter!" I scream and run up to him and tackle him in a hug. He was in my gang when I was a bad girl.

" Beatrice," he slurs. I laugh because he is drunk. " you shou- should have a drink. It will make you feel better."

"No Peter, those days are over and you know that." I say feeling very tempted.

" I said DRINK OR ELSE!" he screams.

"No!" I scream back.

" I warned you." He says and grabs my hand pulling me back up to the stage.

" Attention, everyone!" Everyone stops and stares including my group who Is standing all together around the stage.

" My old pal Beatrice Prior here wants to show you something." I hear gasps when people hear that I am ' The Beatrice Prior'. Before I know what is happening he pours water all over my wrist revealing the fresh cuts. I hear a gasp from Christina and people muttering 'freak'.

I try to run off of the stage, but Peter has a strong grip on my arm.
" Beatrice used to be In a gang at the age of 13-15 and she did drugs, got drunk, she is bulimic and anorexic, and her sorry excuse for a brother got her in a car accident." He slurs.

I look at my group and everyone, but Four and Christina look at me in disgust. I punch Peter in the face and scream " I HATE YOU!" I run off stage and all the way home.

I run in my bathroom and throw-up immediately. I look in the mirror and cry as I slit my wrists.
I put bandages over my new cuts.

I go into my secret recording studio behind my mirror. I recently wrote a new song and I think I am ready to record it. It's called
'When she cries' ( ORIGINALLY BY BRITT NICOLE...READ LYRICS)

Little girl terrified
She'd leave her room if only bruises would heal
A home is no place to hide
Her heart is breaking from the pain that she feels

[CHORUS]
Every day's the same
She fights to find her way
She hurts, she breaks, she hides, and tries to pray
She wonders why, does anyone ever hear her when she cries?

Today she's turning sixteen
Everyone's singing, but she can't seem to smile
They never get past arms length
How could they act like everything is alright?
Pulling down her long sleeves
To cover all the memories the scars leave
She says, "Maybe making me bleed
will be the answer that could wash the slate clean."

[CHORUS]

This is the dark before the dawn
The storm before the peace
Don't be afraid 'cause seasons change and
God is watching over you
He hears you

Every day's the same
She fights to find her way
She hurts, she breaks, she hides, and tries to pray
She'll be just fine, 'cause I know he hears her when she cries

Every day's the same
She fights to find her way
She hurts, she breaks, she hides, and tries to pray
She'll be just fine, 'cause I know he hears her when she cries
She'll be just fine, 'cause I know he hears her when she cries

I finish the song and put it on the ITunes then get it on my phone. I listen to it as I fall asleep.

I don't know what will happen tomorrow,

but I will find out soon enough.
