Your father knew you liked females. You were glad for it. Telling him was a nightmare as you were too afraid he'd reject you but he was perfectly fine with it saying it didn't make you any less his daughter.

Knowing you had an interest in females, when Jareth brought a girl called Sarah to the Labyrinth, he notified you immediately. She easily conquered it and when you found out she was in the castle, you rushed to find her. You found her in a room with your father.

"It is not I who loves you, Sarah," said Jareth. It confused Sarah, that was not how her book ended. It ended with the Goblin King being defeated because he wasn't loved by the girl.

"It's me who admires and adores you," you said. "It sounds creepy but I've been watching you get through the Labyrinth."
"It does sound strange," said Sarah as she looked at you in confusion. "I don't understand."
"I think I love you," you said simply. "You are intelligent, beautiful and I'd love to get to know you."

For a while, Sarah was quiet as she thought. You exchanged a nervous glance with your father but then he gave you a reassuring smile.
"I have to go back home with my brother," she said. "Even though I'd like to stay and get to know you."
"That's no problem," said Jareth. "She can travel to your world with magic."
"Then in that case, I suppose I would like to get to know you better."
"I look forward to it," you said, barely containing your glee.

"Although..." She was going to change her mind, you knew it. "Two girls being together isn't... well, it's isn't common and quite a few people don't like it."
"It's common here but not in your world," you said as you thought about what to do. "We could hide it, if you're okay with that, until we feel comfortable telling people. If all else fails, we could maybe... maybe live here? Where people don't mind?" Sarah nodded, confirming she was okay with what you suggested. Or, at least, agreed with you enough that she didn't want to negotiate or argue about it.

"I should be getting back with Toby," she said. You nodded in understanding. "See you soon?"
"See you soon."
