Chapter 12

*Year 4*

Jennifer's POV

I arrived at Quidditch trails while everyone was messing around, James, Sirius and I were just leaning against our broomsticks,

"You coming tonight?" James asked, I nodded

"Need to stretch my legs" I say, he chuckled and looked up to the stands,

"Think you can try and get me in Evans good books?" He asked, I raised an eyebrow and chuckled

"I've tried so many times for you, what makes you think this year will be different?" I asked,

"I'll get you in Sirius' good books" he said as Sirius winked at me, I rolled my eyes

"I'm sorry what now?" I asked,

"Don't act stupid. We all know you like him" he said, I scoffed

"I don't like him. Who thinks that?" I asked,

"Pérez, Remus, Peter, Evans and me" he said,

"Well you can all stop because I don't" I say crossing my arms,

"Of course, you love me" Sirius smirked,

"You're lucky that I'm not a beater Black" I say, he chuckled making me punch his arm, "I might accidentally bite into your neck tonight, don't piss me off" I say smirking, I heard someone gasp behind us and I looked behind and saw a third year stood there with their mouth open, I chuckled.

Quidditch trails finished, I kept my place as a Chaser along with James and Sirius, I was walking with Lily back to the castle

"A little stag told me that you think I've got feelings for Sirius" I say making her eyes widened,

"Well, you look at him differently plus you've got a weird friendship with him. Tell him the way you feel" she said making me raise an eyebrow,

"When you finally admit your feelings for Potter, I'll consider it" I say smirking as I walked away from her leaving her speechless, or I thought so.

"You do like him!" She yelled as she ran to my side, I rolled my eyes ignoring her "Oh come on Jen, you and Black would be cute together. We need to spilt Pérez and him up" she said,

"Lily Evans! Are you implying what I think you are?" I asked, she smiled and nodded "I think I'm a bad influence on you" I say, she shrugged

"Come on we need to plan" she said before grabbing my hand and running to the common room, I changed my outfit as it was a Sunday before sitting down with Lily and Alice and began planning.

We finished planning down in the Great Hall since it was coming late, we finished eating and was arranging when we should start when Remus and James came over, Sirius was occupied by Pérez elsewhere,

"What you girls up to?" James asked as he sat down next to Lily and Remus sat next to me,

"The girls are helping me plan" Lily answered as I rolled up the parchment and putting it in my pocket,

"Jen, you can tell us, we're best friends" Remus said put his arm around my shoulder, I shook my head,

"Never. I'm gonna go now, see you later" I say before getting up and walking out of the hall, straight into Sirius and Pérez eating each other's faces off, I walked past them before a smirk crept on my face,

"Hey Black!" I yell from the stairs, he broke away from Pérez and look at me, "You still coming tonight?!" I asked, he was confused at first before nodding, "You sure? Me and the boys don't want you to miss out on your time with your girlfriend" I say smirking,

"Stop being jealous Ridgeback. He's mine" Pérez said.

"Trust me I'm not jealous!" I yell,

"Bullshit" Pérez comments smirking,

"Think whatever you want Pérez. I know the truth" I shrugged, as I noticed Remus, James and Peter exit the great hall and head towards me, I wrapped my arms around Remus and James' shoulders making them groan as we walked off to the common room, we went through the portrait and sat down in the Common room, I put my legs on Remus' knees while he read, as I leant against James' side.

We was stood at the Whomping Willow waiting for Sirius when Remus began to turn, James, Peter and I turned into our Animagus' Sirius finally arrived in his Animagus, we was just wandering before Remus bolted off with Sirius and myself close on his trail, Remus was going to attack someone before Sirius tackled him away from them, I went towards whoever it was to see Severus and Melissa, I turned back and ran over to them

"What are you two doing here?!" I asked,

"You're with them?!" He yelled,

"With who?! Get out of here!" I snapped, I heard a growl behind us and saw Remus coming closer, "You gotta trust me, just this once" I say, Severus sighed but nodded as Melissa looked at me in confusion, I turned back into my Lioness before standing protectively in front of the two of them, Remus tried getting around me, but I wouldn't let him before I had enough and jumped at Remus and pinned him to the ground.
