Chapter 11

Jennifer's POV

Lily, James, Remus, Peter, Sirius and I made our way to the duel club, just for fun I sighed as I sat on one of the desk as we watched the other students duel, or practice various spells, there were a group of gasps around a crowded area making me shrug as I looked over to a duelling pair,

"Jen. You've got to see this" Lily said as she dragged me towards the crowd, I made my way through it and came to a halt as I saw Melissa producing a Lioness Patronus making my jaw drop, it suddenly disappeared, she turned to Regulus saying a couple things before he produced a Dog Patronus,

"Holy shit" Sirius muttered from the left of me, I turned slightly to see him gobsmacked as well,

"Their patronus' are us?" I questioned, he nodded, "Melissa!" I call over as I walked towards them, she jumped turning to me, I crouched down to her, "Why didn't you tell me you could produce a Patronus?" I asked,

"Mother told me not to tell you" She muttered making my eyes widen,

"I guess it's expected" I shrugged as I stood up, she grabbed my sleeve preventing me from leaving,

"Can you do it?" She asked, I nodded, her eyes lit up with excitement, "Will you show me?" She asked, I nodded and pulled out my wand, waved it, creating my Lioness, she gasped, "Expecto Patronum" She said creating hers, hers was smaller and younger than mine, it began to play with mine making me chuckle,

"Melissa" A voice called over making both of our patronus' disappear before she walk away from me towards the voice, I raised an eyebrow as Regulus was quick to follow,

"Jen?" Lily said bring me out of my day-dream, I hummed looking towards her, "You were miles away. You okay?" She asked, I shrugged

"Whoever called Melissa is doing something to her" I say as I went to follow my sister, but Lily stopped me,

"Jen don't" She said,

"Lils she's my sister, if she's in danger-"

"What danger would she be in here?" She asked cutting me off, I shrugged, "Exactly. I'm sure it's just a friend" She said giving me a reassuring smile, I hummed,

"I guess" I agreed as I went to a desk and sat on it,

"Gallon for your thoughts?" Remus asked as he sat next to me,

"Huh? Oh, just a worrying older sister" I answered, he chuckled,

"You know, you're a different person around her. Almost like a mother" He commented, I hummed,

"Well, I have raised her to a certain degree" I replied, he sighed,

"Is she a Quidditch player like yourself?" He asked, I shrugged

"She always liked to watch me but I'm unsure" I answered,

"Jen! Sorry Remus. We've got to go" Lily said as she pulled my arm and dragged me out,

"Lily, what's the rush?" I asked as we arrived back at the common room,

"Leon Thomas was going to ask me out" She whispered as we made our way up to our room,

"Leon Thomas?" I asked, she nodded

"The Ravenclaw prick?" Alice asked from her bunk, Lily nodded throwing herself on to her bunk letting out a groan,

"Eh? Who is this guy?" I asked, not having a single idea who they were on about,

"Ravenclaw beater" Alice stated,

"Oh...That annoyance. Ew" I commented sitting on my bunk, they both chuckled, "You know next time you should just say you're already in a relationship" I advised,

"Really? With who?" She asked,

"Prongs" I answered making her choke on nothing before glaring at me,

"What?! Are you mad?!" She snapped, I chuckled standing up,

"No, Prongs would definitely go along with it. Or Padfoot" I thought out loud,

"Black is dating Adams. Remember?" She retorted, I shrugged,

"Like he hasn't dated two girls at once before" I remarked making Alice laugh as Lily narrowed her eyes at me, "That or you could say you're dating me. I'd totally play along for you" I winked making Alice laugh harder as Lily began to smile, I shrugged "But it's up to you on who you choose" I say.
