‘Was it a question or a statement? Moreover, what did he mean by this’-I thought to myself completely puzzled.
“Ehh?? Please repeat. I didn’t get you.”
“I knew that you are imbecile. But I never had an idea that you are deaf as well!”, he said sarcastically.
Only a boy like him could pass such sarcastic comments in such tensed situations.
I made a face at him but I was not in a mood to reply back mockingly, as I usually did, because I was totally confused about what he said just a minute ago.
Tris shook me out of my thoughts and said, "It’s time now.”
“But for what Tris???”, I asked fully puzzled.
