“Hmm, I’ll tell.....but first you have to promise me.”
“What???”, I asked in confusion.
He started again,”You have to promise me .... that we will still remain best friends... no matter what I say... WHATEVER I say !!!”
“First say what it is... dummy!”, I exclaimed a bit curious.
Of course I was serious. ‘What it can be that he had to ask me to make such a promise’-I asked to myself.
“Ooooo, this means you will leave me all alone”
“Oooops! When did I say that?? I’ll never.. I would better die than to leave you... This therefore implies that you don’t have any faith in our friendship...”
“No dear, never. It’s the purest relationship.... But ...”
“But what???”
“You have to promise first.”
“Oh noooo!! OKAY, I promise. I’ll never leave you... no matter what you say, no matter what happens. We will never part. I promise!”
“OK then, so,...”, he breathed out, quite nervous.
‘What was he going to say?! Is it something concerning our friendship??? Or is it something else?’-I questioned to myself. Thousands of questions flashed in my mind...
