Jerika- Love Again

Chapter 9

 Erika's POV: 

I guess Nathan is coming back to L.A. and seems like Dallas and Jake are pretty happy about it.

Jake- Why dont we go out to Outback for a celebration of Nathan coming 

Dallas screams yes and runs out of the room im assuming to get ready as I look at Jake.

Erika Jake I should probably head home then

Jake looks at me and shakes his head.

Jake- Naw you should come it will be fun, trust me 

Erika- I dont know Jake

Jake- Dont worry if your worried about Dallas she really likes you I see it trust me she would be really happy if you came

Erika- Would you 

I dont know what I was thinking why did I say that

Jake- I mean yea its nice to have some other friends besides Team 10 members 

I smile at him.

Erika- Alright but im paying for my meal 

Jake- What kind of guy would I be if I did not pay and dont even try you are not winning this argument 

I laugh and look at Jake who looks serious.

Erika- Ugh whatever im going to pay you back

Jake- Nope you dont have to, now lets go before Dallas starts that Tesla by herself then we have a big problem 

I laugh as I follow Jake downstairs to see Dallas waiting at the door with Buddy by her side. 

Jake- Alright Bud be good we will be back soon k 

I look at Buddy who I swear nods and smile... that dog is so good.

Jake- Alright Bud be home soon guard the house for us 

I swear Buddy nods and Dallas says bye to buddy and then we walk out getting into the car again. And this time I opened the door.

Jake- Wow good job you opened the door by your self

I laugh and look at Jake who is starting the car and who put it in auto drive as we head to Outback. 

Jake- So Erika where did you grow up I know you did not live in LA your whole life 

Erika- I grew up in Michigan and then when my parents got divorced I moved to Tennessee with my mom 

 Jake nods at me - Sorry about your parents getting divorced but actually mine are to 

Erika- Yea I think I saw that somewhere but thanks its okay I did not really know my real dad much 

Jake nods at me- Actually Nathan who was my filmer and one of my best friends is from Michigan along with his brother Kade who filmed my vlogs as well 

Erika- Really thats awesome 

Jake- Wait so how old are you 

Erika- 25 

Jake-  Dang your older im 24 

I smile and stick my tongue out.

Erika- You young boy 

Jake- Oh hush 

Erika- I thought you would be older sine you know 

Jake-Since I have a kid, Yea most people think that but well you could say Alissa and I were young and in love 

I nod at him feeling a little jealous when he talks about Alissa. But I mean he was with her for so long and loved her. We are not even together or I dont like him... why am I being jealous 

Erika- Yea I mean makes since 

Jake- So what about you whats your dating life, I know you said your single but what about past relationships 

I sigh and look at him.

Erika- Honestly pretty bad I've had 2 boyfriends and they both sucked 

Jake- Dang sorry to hear that 

Erika- Yea well guess I just have not found the right guy yet 

Jake- Hey you never know you may already have met him 

I look at him thinking and then sighing.

Erika- Probably not 

Jake rolls his eyes. 

Jake- So what did you do in high school 

Erika- I was a cheerleader, what about you 

Jake - I basically did everything, I wrestled, I did basketball, football I am very competitive growing up with an older brother you get competitive 

I nod at him. 

Erika- Sounds fun 

Jake- Sure was and Alissa was my cheerleader it was awesome 

I laugh as I see Jake go off in his own little world and sigh... we can not talk about anything without it connecting to Alissa... but I mean he loved her and knew her is whole life almost, and has a kid with her, and its only been 2 years.. why am I being so ride about this thing....

Dallas- Daddy are we almost there 

Jake- Yup 5 minutes Dall 

I look at Dallas who nods and smile at her as she waves at me going back to whatever she is doing on Jake's phone. 

I then see we slowed down and Jake pulls into Outback. Jake find a parking spot and he pulls in and then we get out of the car. We walk to the front and get seated Dallas and Jake on one side and then me on the other. We start to look through the menus waiting for our waiter to come. Just then some girl comes wearing way to much make up for being a waiter and starts batting her eyes at Jake while he shifts uncomfortably. 

Waiter- Well hello im Anna but you could call me whenever 

I roll my eyes, did that girl just use a guy pickup line. I glance at Jake who smirks what is he planning.

Jake- Alright Whenever I will have a coke, my daughter here will have chocolate milk and my Girlfriend will have a coke as well 

When Jake says girlfriend my eyes almost shoot out of my head. Obviously he put a ton of emphasis on girlfriend but still. I see Dallas look at me confused and I give her a shrug. 

Waiter- Whatever ill be back 

The waiter leaves and I look at Jake who starts laughing.

Jake- Oh man that face was priceless 

I roll my eyes at him as he laughs.

Dallas- Daddy what do you mean girlfriend 

Jake glances at me

Jake- Not like that Dallas like a friend who is a girl, not as like how Alissa and I were 

Dallas nods and looks at me and gives me a smile I smile back and look at Jake who is still having a laugh attack.
