"Do you want to help?" Tanong sakin ni Brett habang hinuhugasan niya ang mga gulay na isasahog ni sa Kare-Kare. Ngayon alam ko na na ito pala ang paborito niyang ulam same as mine. Hahaha.

Nakatanghod lang ako sa kanya at pinapanuod siya sa kanyang ginagawa. He looks hot. I didn't know I'll have a fetish for guys who are good in the kitchen.

"Wag na baka mapasabog ko pa ang kusina mo." I kidded at nagpangalumbaba sa island counter.

"Why don't you know how to cook?" He asked me habang nagslice na siya ng mga gulay. Ang sexy lang! Sheez! Get a grip girl baka tumulo na lang bigla ang laway mo.

Ipinilig ko ang ulo ko bilang response sa tanong niya.

"No, never tried either." I honestly said. Bakut ko naman ikakahiya na hindi ako marunong magluto? Eh sa hindi ako marunong e. It's not as if the world would stop spinning if I don't know how to cook. It's not a big deal to me.

What is the problem if a woman doesn't know her way around the kitchen? Nakakabawas ba ng pagkababae? I don't think so. Nasa panahon na tayo na halos pantay na ang mga babae at lalaki. Let me just tell you na there is so much more to a woman than being domesticated.

"Well, I think it's due time to learn, love? What do you think?" He teased me and inirapan ko naman siya.

Isa ba si Brett sa mga nanniniwala na dapat marunong sa gawaing bahay ang mga babae? Ano, are we some kind of slaves? Pagkatapos ng long day sa nakakastress na trabaho magsisilbi ka pa sa pamilya mo? I honestly believe na dapat equal ang obligations sa house hold chores hindi puro babae lang dapat ang gumagawa.

"Bakit? You'll think of breaking up with me just because I can't cook?" Pagtataray ko sa kanya. I even raised a perfectly shaped brow of mine. Kilay is always life.

"No, silly. I really do not mind cooking and feeding you, love." He said at natatawa kasi bigla ako nagsusungit. Tumigil din siya sa paghihiwa upang lumapit sa akin.

"Eh ano? Requirement ba sa pagiging misis mo na kailangan marunong magluto?" I asked still annoyed.

"Nope." He said at naghuhugas siya ngayon ng kamay.

"I'm only thinking about you, love. Paano pag nabusy ako sa work? I won't be able to cook for you. Paano ka na? Well, pwede naman ako maghire ng personal cook para sa'yo. That is if you want." Masuyo nitong sabi. Ugh! Bakit ba ang sweet niya. Unfair! He always know what to say to make my heart melt.

I know Brett loves his privacy that's why he is living alone with himself. My mga helpers naman siya to clean the house weekly and do his laundry. But they never stayed at his home. Saka hello, feeling donya naman ako masyado kung may personal cook pa ako. That is too much I think.

"Hmm---I'll think about it." Yun na lang ang comment ko. Nakakabwiset lang that he know's how to put some sense to me. He was patient and understanding towards me also. He was nice. How can you not fall for this gorgeous man?

"How did you learn how to cook pala?" I asked diverting the topic. Ayako naman magkapikunan pa kami at ma spoil ang ang aming getaway.

"Since I decided to be independent and live alone." He said at back on track na naman siya sa pagpreprare ng lulutuin niya. Brett seems comfortable in the kitchen. He really knows what he is doing. Another glimpse of his personal life that most people don't have the chance to see.
