"Lu wake up"

I groaned its too early to wake up. 

"Lu honey"

Nope nope nope not today.

"LU I GOT YOU SOME BACON WRAPPED IN SAUSAGES" 

I immediately woke up just to see Emerson laughing his ass off on the floor. What a fucker. 

"oh my god...you fell....for...it..... I CAN'T BREATHE" he said while clutching his stomach. 

"Ha ha very funny. I hate you even more then I did before Emerson."

"Common Lu I know you love me deep down in your stone cold heart." 

"Yeah no" 

"Common you can't hate me. By the way happy birthday my girl." he said placing a kiss on the top of my head and headed to the kitchen

Usually Friday nights either Emerson sleeps over or I sleep over at his place. Our parents want us to be together so badly they don't bat an eye. 

I began to go take a shower letting the cool water immerse me. It's actually my birthday today. I'm gonna meet my mate and I'm gonna see if I can shift for once. I mean I wouldn't mind not shifting but sometimes I  just want to stop getting teased at school. I get the constant half-ling joke and all that shit. I just ignore it now since it doesn't harm me anymore like it use to when I was younger. Besides I have Emerson by my side. I depend on Emerson so much sometimes it scares me because what if I lose him then who do I have. I know I have my parents but Emerson and I have been attached to one another since birth. Granted hes three months older then me. 

"LU YOUR GONNA BECOME  A PRUNE COMMON" 

oh shit. I quickly cleaned myself and my hair. I wanted to go for something simple today. I just choose some high-wasted long mom jeans that were ripped and a black-sleeve crop top to go with it. Simple enough I can deal with. 

"Okay okay Em jeez" 

He walked over to me wearing his apron he left here since he comes here so much. And kissed my temple. 

"Happy birthday my girl. I actually made your favorite food this morning." 

"Banana pancakes and my bacon wrapped sausages?" 

"Anything for my girl." he said wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

Someone is a bit touchy more then usual I wonder why.

As Lu began to eat her breakfast Emerson couldn't help but stare at her. He knew that no one could compare to her. She thinks that they were just friends but hes been in love with her since they were 5 playing in the mud. He knew back then and now that she was the one. He knew she was his mate the moment she turned 18. He turned to see her snoring sound asleep and just knew that she was his. He wanted to claim her but because she was a hybrid she would possibly have another mate out there. In the few cases of hybrids like Lu they tend to have two mates. The only problem with Lu was that he knew her wolf side was probably more dominant. Reason why she didn't recognize it. 

He always loved her. The way she would snore in her sleep. The way she trained hard every single day even when everyone told her it was pointless too. She was the mate he had always wanted and dreamed of. He couldn't get enough of her. The week he had to train was the hardest time for him leaving Lu alone without him for sometime. 

But the hardest was yet to come when she would find her other mate and only time will tell if she would accept him or her other mate out there. The thought upset Emerson so much he had a  hard time trying to control his emotions trying to not cause a storm when it was her birthday. He wanted her to have everything.
