Manvi blinked her heavy eyelids, walking away from him was never easy... It felt as if she was trying not to breath, as if she was trying to stop her beating heart and it felt as if she was snatching her own soul from her body.

At night, she couldn't help but keep moving her gaze to the door. Virat didn't come home for dinner and no one at home bothered about his absence, she wanted to ask Vanshika about his whereabouts but decided otherwise, she was his wife now, means she should be aware of all that even if he didn't bother to tell her. She had resisted the urge to punch in his number in her phone... scream at him for being careless, but she didn't want to give in so soon, keeping away from him might feel as a torture but she needs him to do something about this other than just ask for forgiveness. She wanted him to involve in their relationship like she did all through the months, she believed that if he did, if he tried then this sacred relationship they were sharing would be successful, if he didn't then there was no use in expecting anymore.

Standing in the dark balcony made her miss her own room terribly, there was a time in which she couldn't help but dream about coming to where she was standing today, make it colorful and cheery as her own. She wondered how much her life had changed since the past few months, did she ever think that there will be a day in which she would be married to Virat? Did she ever think that she would be giving him silent treatment for something he did? Did she ever think that all her childish dreams would come true? Manvi snapped out of her thought when she heard the door click and couldn't stop herself from turning around to look at him... and something inside her tickled and trembled. The drizzle outside has managed to wet his spiked hair and it was disheveled facing different directions, his navy t-shirt was black from here and there and his face showed that he was immersed in his own world of thoughts. Manvi tried to think of a way to ignore any kind of conversation as she entered the room, Virat looked up and she turned her gaze away from him abruptly stopping him from talking to her, he sighed deeply before closing the washroom door with a set of fresh clothes.

Virat was still thinking about his conversation with Abhi. Talking to someone who knew everything about his not so happy days made him feel actually better, Abhi not only knew everything but he had but also been with him throughout that period.. Maybe not every minute... maybe not everyday... but he was there and he knew what Virat went through exactly. That acceptance and that understanding made him feel comfortable with Abhi more than he did with Viren when it comes to his life... and Virat also knew that it was one reason why he had gone to Abhi when he wanted a friend. Telling him about his relationship with Manvi, how it had all started and where it all led them to. Reminiscing the moments spent with her made him realize how special and important she had become to him... it made him realize how much this distance they share in spite of being so close to each other bothers him. He sucked in his breath before he turned to look at Manvi who was sleeping next to the pile of pillows which was separating them. Virat closed his eyes soon after his mind captured her solemn sleeping face. He knew he was going to make it all right very soon.

Waking up from unconsciousness was a strange feeling, everyone on this earth go through it every day but feels strange for her nonetheless... sometimes it is so sudden... sometimes too slow... sometimes forced and sometimes deliberate... today, for Manvi it was unwanted. She didn't want to wake up from her sleep not because she was having a good dream but because she didn't look forward for the day which was coming ahead. Manvi had no idea for how long she was going to fool everyone with her fake smile and pretense of being in good terms with Virat. She didn't like what she was doing was one reason out of many... she was not this but she was forcing herself to be so because there was a need for whatever she was doing and that fight inside her was killing her every minute.
