Virat stood stagnant even after Manvi left the place, he didn't want to accept but her words cut through him like a sharp knife, her walking away from him was new and he couldn't accept it, he couldn't accept Manvi regretting for developing a liking towards him, 'was he that bad? A voice emerged within him and there was another voice which gave a positive answer immediately, 'of course, what was there to even ask,' the burden of guilt was slowly eating him away, what did he do in the name of making everything right?

His phone beeped and Virat attended to it still wallowing in his own guilt,

"Virat... You don't have to pick me, I have a friend here so we decided to stay in a hotel close by and leave tomorrow, hello... Virat? Are you there?" He didn't answer Sheena but hung up as he got in to the car and accelerated it so strongly that it screeched while racing through the gate, but didn't reach anyone in the house because of the heavy rain.

Jeevika and her family were getting ready to leave so Manvi who was avoiding everyone came down to bid her goodbye,

"Manvi did you see Virat? Wonder where he is," Vanshika asked Manvi who was descending the stairs,

"Aunty... umm, woh... uh, I saw him going out, few minutes back," she told them not wanting to lie,

"Bahar, Iss waqt," Vanshika tensed and looked at dada ji who was worried too,

"Don't worry babhi, he must have needed some space, zyada dur nahi gaya hoga," Swamini tried to calm Vanshika and Manvi suppressed her urge to tell them the truth,

"Haan I don't think that driving in this weather would be safe, Anand, beta I don't think that it will be a good idea to leave tonight, stay for the night," Dadji looked at Jeevika's father,

"Haan bhai sahab, You'll should stay, look how heavy the rain is," Swamini supported Dada ji as Vanshika nodded at them too already worried with Virat who was out,

"But..." Anand wanted to refuse, he had so many preparations to make for the wedding ceremony which was to be held in a month's time,

"Haan ji, we'll stay for the night and leave tomorrow, I don't like traveling in such weather too," Rachna agreed and looked at her husband expectantly,

"Okay, but we'll stay in the guest house for today and leave tomorrow early in the morning," Anand agreed as they left to the guest house which was just few minutes away from the Vadhera house,

"We should leave too," Prakash signaled Padmini,

"Haan didi, bau ji... we should leave and you all must be tired too,"

"Okay beta... Thank you for helping us in all this,"

"Oh woh bhi koi keh neki baat hai," Prakash patted Viren on his shoulder and Manvi wished him once again, they were all walking out but Viren held Manvi back,

"Kya hua bhaiya?" Manvi asked,

"You tell me... why are you looking so sad? kuch hua?"

"Nahi toh," she tried to cover, she didn't want him to know, she shouldn't let him know,

"Sure?" Viren asked still skeptical,

"Haan bhaiya, just tired... tomorrow is Saturday and I'm going to sleep till very late," she diverted the topic,

"Ha ha... Good," Viren laughed and let her go,

Manvi smiled and was about to leave the house but the phone rang alerting both of them, 'who was calling so late at night? Was the only question which was in their minds,
