Manvi ran out of the room then straight to the rooftop as she was in no state to go in front of anyone, her heart was thudding so hard, not just from the running but with the close proximity they shared few minutes back. She closed her eyes, still feeling his breath on her cheeks, what was happening to her?' This was new, this feeling... it was new, she had never felt such attraction towards him before, was this good or bad? It all felt so right though... She didn't feel like getting away from him, she wanted to stay there... with him forever, she smiled but one part of her heart... that little part of her was fearing for the worse, what if he never fell in love with her? What if he got fed up giving in and asks her to leave? Asks her to go away from his life forever... she shook her head negatively, that wouldn't happen... She had faith in her love for him, there will be one day where he would fall for her and accept her too.
"Hey Manvi..." Viren who was home regarding some work greeted Manvi, who was descending the stairs,
Manvi smiled at Viren and approached him, "Hi Viren Bhaiya... How are you?" Manvi hugged him as he patted her head lovingly,
"You should stop calling me bhaiya now..." He teased as Vanshika who was setting the table for lunch cleared her throat,
"Kyun?" Manvi asked confused,
"Nothing beta... You come have some lunch with us," Vanshika tried to change the subject,
"No aunty, Mama asked me to come home for lunch as Pooja will be joining us today..."
"Achcha okay, but aathi rehna..." Vanshika,
"Arre Vanshika ma... You don't have to say that to her now," Viren coughed as Swamini looked at him threateningly,
"Viren bhaiya... Why are you talking in riddles today... Kya hua aapko?" Manvi was still unaware of what he meant,
"Us ko na... You let him be," Swamini shook her head at Viren disappointingly,
"Haan beta..." Vanshika supported Swamini,
"Okay bye then, Viren bhaiya have your lunch quickly and go to office without lazing around okay..." Manvi ran away before Viren could reply, Viren smiled and shook his head but stopped as soon as he noticed Swamini's and Vanshika's hard stare at him,
"What? What did I do now?" Viren tried to act innocent,
"What was that?" Swamini asked,
"I just wanted to tease her a bit..."
"But..." Swamini was going to reprimand him but Vanshika saved him from the situation,
"It is okay didi... he doesn't know right,"
"I don't know what?" Viren was now very curious,
"Padmini and Prakash have requested to have all this talk about marriage after Manvi completes college, they don't want to rush..." Vanshika answered Viren's question and his smile eluded him, he didn't want to drag things anymore,
"But..."
"No Viren they are right from their point of view, think... Manvi still has few months to complete her college, she is just twenty one... we don't have any say in this as Bau ji has agreed to them,"
"But ma we can at least let them get engaged or something..." He tried to argue,
"No beta... it will distract her from her studies... and I think they need more time before we do anything,"
"Okay... I agree they need more time, but don't you think we should at least let them know... I mean we want them to get married, it is about them..." Viren was now completely worried, why weren't they understanding?' Don't they know how Virat is? He could change his mind at anytime... anything could happen, Viren didn't want that to happen, he didn't have any idea about what Manvi meant to Virat, but can she mean so much to Virat that nothing would change his mind,
