She gave a soft laugh and touched the side of his face making him lose his scowl. Even though he looked haggard with his untrimmed beard and unwashed face, she could not help but think him to be the most beautiful creature she had ever seen.
"Do you believe me now?" She asked, "I would never do anything to hurt you my love."
"I do. I never should have doubted you." He said coming closer to her. Shame and many other expressions swam in his eyes and she could not help herself any longer.
