“You didn't even wait for me” Bryson said shaking his head disappointed.

“Sorry, didn't realize you wanted me to” I shrugged.

“Are you okay?” he asked leaning on Dylan's locker as I opened my locker.

“Yeah, I'm perfectly fine” I said putting my books in my locker.

“Okay well-"

“Hey baby girl” Dylan said smiling at me.

I smiled “Hey buddy”

“Get off my locker pretty boy” Dylan said resting his hand on his hip.

“Pretty boy huh?” Bryson asked getting off the locker.

“Don't get too fond of yourself” I said.

“Don't kill his ego” Dylan said.

“Don't worry Dylan, his ego is too big to kill”

Dylan laughed, and Bryson glared.

“Very funny” he said rolling his jean jacket sleeves up.

“Well I gotta head” Dylan said.

“Where you going? I thought we were gonna have lunch together” I said.

“Yeah sorry Aadila had this committee thing and she asked if I could help her” Dylan said.

“What, why didn't she ask me?” I ask.

“Cause you've been stressed out lately with everything. And plus, she wants you to have lunch with Bryson” he whispered the last part.

“You guys are too much” I rolled my eyes.

“Chow” Dylan smirked leaving.

“What was that about?” Brys asked.

“I don't know” I shrugged.

“So you'll be eating lunch with me?” he asked eagerly.

“Nah, I'll just go to the library” I said walking away.

“Woah” Brys said grabbing my shoulders.

“Why won't you have lunch with me?” he asked a bit hurt.

“Because there's always a bunch of people at your lunch table. And the whole freaking cafeteria watch that table like it's an episode of the vampire diaries” I said.

“Vampire diaries?” he smirked.

“What? It's a good show” I said looking down embarrassed.

“Fine, we can sit somewhere else” he said grabbing my hand.

“Brys, no” I said removing my hand from his.

“Why not?” he asked walking back to me.

“I just want to be alone for a while” I said feeling my head spinning.

“Listen, I know your stressed about school. But you shouldn't be, you're doing great in all your classes. You need to relax beads, trust me” he said forwarding his hand.

I looked at his hand and sighed. I grabbed it as he dragged me to the cafeteria.

“Don't expect me to talk to everyone” I said.

“You don't have to beads” I couldn't see his face, but I already knew he had a smile on his face.

We entered the cafeteria, I didn't miss all the stares I saw from the corner of my eyes.
