👑Brysons POV👑

I sat in my car, my nerves getting the best of me.

Madinas dad invited me to come over for the BBQ. I didn't want to, but it was a bad impression if I didn't.

She was all that invades my brain these days.
I even thought maybe if I drew her, she would be out of my system.

But I was wrong.

I drew her in my notebook. Then I went to painting her on a canvas.

Something about her never left me bored.

I always want to know more about her.

But sometimes,I can't because we're completely opposites.

We always fight, but I always run back. Or she runs back to me

It's just…

Complicated.

I got out of my car and heard loud sounds from behind the house.

I knocked on the front door and waited for minutes. No one opened the door so I decide to walk near the backyard where the beach was.

As soon as I turned around the door opened. I made eye contact with Majeed.

Shit.

Why him?

He huffed and went to shut the door in my face.

I put my foot near the door and stopped him.

“Leave, you're not wanted pretty boy” Majeed said staring holes in me.

I chuckled sarcastically “That's funny, cause your parents invited me” I said walking past him inside.

He clenched his jaw.

“Why the fuck are you always around my sister? Leave her alone” he said as his hand balled up in fists.

“That's none of your business. If she wants me to leave her alone, I will” I said.

Now that was a lie.

I could never leave her alone.

“You're gonna say it's none of my business? She's my family. It's all of my fucking business” he said getting angry.

“That's not what she says” I said crossing my arms.

His face turned a shade of red in anger. He grinded his teeth.

He walked over and grabbed car keys then, slammed the door shut.

I huffed.

Why do we hate each other again?

Oh yeah.

I don't give a shit.

“Oh Bryson!”

I turned around and saw Kareem; Madinas father walking up to me with a big smile.

I hugged him and shook his hand.

“Salam sir” I said.

His eyes grew wide, then a smile stretched across his face.

“I'm guessing Madina taught you that” he laughed. “Sounds like my princess” he chuckled.

“Yeah, she's something else” I smiled.

“I agree, son” he patted my back.

“Well, Dina ended up inviting the whole basketball team to the BBQ. So have fun, don't be shy. Oh, and Maryam cooked a lot of food, so help yourself” he said laughing.
