Aries POV It's been a month since I saw Chris and I can't get him out my head or what we did. I know I was hella drunk but I can't help but think about it. I knew I didn't want to walk out his house that next morning but I couldn't grasp myself being that vulnerable again. Then on top of that Algee has been acting so weird. Secretive and shit. He's been working some really late hours and I'm not saying I don't trust my man but something ain't right.
"Babe do you have to keep working these late hours?" I asked over the phone he sighs
"Yeah baby. But I promise they'll lighten up soon. I know I said you'd have more of my time but this is just a lot of work and if I can cancel out all this work before our vacation then it'd be less stressful for both of us" I sigh softly
"Okay love. Do what you gotta do. I'll see you tomorrow. I love you" I say smiling
"Love you too babygirl" I can hear the smile on his face before we hung up.
I decide to shower. Chris mom had Maurice so I was all to myself tonight. I took a nice hot shower, tied up my hair in a messy bun, put on my favorite Victoria's Secret lotion then threw on something cute alone with my robe just open

As I was making a late night snack, I heard my doorbell ring. I paused my process and went to the door. I saw Christopher standing before me. I started closing up my robe.
"Chris what are you doing here? Maurice is at your moms" I say looking outside at his surroundings and it's kind of cold. I moved over and let him inside cuz my heat was on.
"Aries I have to talk to you" he follows me into the kitchen.
"Is everything okay ?" I turn off the stove and turn towards him sitting on my counter giving him my full attention because he sounded upset.
"Well there's two things. And I know you may not want to hear It but we use to tell each other everything and I really need someone to talk to." He leaned against the sink looking across at me with glossy eyes.
"What's wrong Love?" I asked concerned now getting down standing in front of him
"My girlfriend... this sounds so weird.... but she's been acting kind of strange. Taking these trips. And not coming over at night anymore. Sometimes she says she out sometimes she says she's with her mom or at work" I mentally rolled my eyes.
"You must really like her. Well I'm in a similar situation. Algee works late hours because he's CEO of his company. If you want the truth, if you trust her go with your gut. If you don't then don't hold high expectations" I say shrugging turning the stove back on and mixing the pot
"Yeah... You're right. Thank you Aries." He said behind me.
"Now what was the other thing you wanted to talk about?" I asked still with my back turned cooking.
