It’s now 8pm. And it took them 2 hours to reach the place Ryuzaki want to hang out. They went to a somehow an “abandoned” park with no swing, no see-saw, and no slide. Just green grass and an old bench.
“Well, we’re here.“
“A park?“
“Yeah. A park.“
“WOW! I didn’t expect a guy like you to choose a place like this.“
Ryuzaki just ignored what Shida said.
“You want a drink?” he offered.
“Sure!“
“Soda, milk or yogurt?“
“Beer.“
“Beer?! Can you really-”
“Hey! Don’t underestimate me. And oh! Make it three.“
“O-okay?“
Ryuzaki came back with 3 cans of beer and a milk. He sat on the bench while Shida sat on the grass.
“You must be lucky for having Ryosuke as your boyfriend huh?“ he said as he opened the beer and gave it to Shida.
“How could I be lucky if he’s my cousin.“
And then Ryuzaki sat on the grass with Shida and smiled at her. “Cousin huh?”
“OOPS!”
“Don’t worry. I won’t tell anyone. And besides, I already know before you told me.“
“Eh?”
Shida took a sip of her Beer and choked.
“(smiles) I knew you don't drink a beer.“
He said as he drinks his milk.
“Hey!“ She blurted out all of a sudden.
“Hmm?“
“Can I ask you something?“
“What?“
“Why does Ryo use the surname Yamada instead of Ichikawa? I mean.. He is your brother isn’t he?“
Ryuzaki lied down.
“No.“
“No? What do you mean no?“
"I’m his step- brother.“
Shida emptied the whole can of beer and lied down.
After a few seconds of silence, Ryuzaki spoke.
“10 years ago, Ryosuke’s mother was ill. It is said that she only has 2 months to live. One year later after her internment, his father married my mom. Later he found out that they already have a relationship for three years. So he suspected that his father's relationship with my mom is the reason why his mother got ill. As for the surname "Yamada", it was his mothers’."
“Oh~ YEAH! COOOL! *giggle**hiccup**giggle**hiccup*”
Ryuzaki looked at Shida. Her face was red and he saw the 3 cans of beer empty. He looked again and he saw her already sleeping. He carried her in his back.
They rode a bus. Inside there was only him and Shida because it’s almost 12 midnight. Shida opened her eyes, she looked at Ryuzaki intensively and moved closer and closer and closer and reached for his shirt.
Ryuzaki was shocked.
“WOI! What are you doing?!”
She didn’t answer.
He held her hands tightly, trying to stop her.
“WOI!”
Still, Shida gave no response.
"You’re drunk aren’t you? Sheeesh!“
He was shaking her.
And then she threw up.
“AARGHH!SHEEESH!!”
